S-Tier

S-Tier characters are the strongest and most versatile picks. They offer excellent damage, utility, or hybrid roles, and you can use them easily in many team compositions. You should prioritize these characters first.

Ying Zheng

Ying Zheng was an emperor of Qin Dynasty and then turned into a DPS frontliner. His basic attack is called Great Unification which deals AoE damage on enemies. It also builds Golden Dragon stacks that boost his ATK DMG up to 90%. His awaken skill is called Eternal which consumes these stacks to boost his AoE DMG dealt by over 120%. Passive traits also reduce incoming damage and provide agility on being attacked. Ying Zheng excels at multi-target burst and consistent scaling, making him a strong foundation for DPS-focused teams in most game modes.

Li Bai

Li Bai is a legendary poet-warrior with high single-target burst damage. His basic attack is called Swift Turn which boosts his ATK DMG by upto 165% and gives him a stack of Sword Will or Afflatus. His Awaken skill is called Touching which additionally boosts his ATK DMG by upto 330%. This skill also gives him another stack of the same items. His Passive skill further increases his ATK DMG and also gives him additional stacks.

Consort Yu

Consort Yu is a hybrid-support character. Her basic skill Lament of Chu boosts her ATK DMG by upto 70% and gives her upto 20% chance to inflict her Enchant ability on the target enemy. Her Awaken skill Song of Chu boosts this ATK DMG by upto 210% and the chance to inflict Enchant goes up to 70%. Her Passive skill Farewell is also a useful one which boosts her Crit DMG by upto 30%. Consort Yu is one of the most flexible characters and gives you both supportive buffs and respectable DPS. In long battles or team compositions requiring sustain and offense, she is a very valuable asset in your team.

Liu Che is a SSR DPS character with strong single-target focus. His basic attack (Pacifier of Seas) inflicts Crit RES reduction. His passive (All Hailed) gives him a 60% chance of gaining an extra turn upon killing enemies. This also boosts his Crit by 5%. His awaken skill (Mighty of Han) delivers huge burst damage of upto 480%. His Destiny bonus further increases his Crit DMG on kills and Ignore DEF, which makes him thrive in boss fights.

Han Fei

Han Fei blends moderate damage with control abilities like stuns or slows. He is known for his crowd-control ability in multi-target fights. His Awaken skill Rule Maker lets him use a jade ruler to maintain Legalism and also deal ATK DMG of upto 165%. His Passive Legal Rules also lets him boost his Self Crit by upto 30% which cannot be dispelled. You can use Han Fei in control-oriented teams and in fights with many enemies.

Lu Zhi

Lu Zhi is a support hero who applies damage-over-time (DoT) bleed effects, decreasing enemy resilience and boosting team DPS. Her basic attack skill is not very useful. However, her Awaken skill Empress’ Rule boosts her ATK DMG by upto 180%. Also if she hits a target with Bleed, then the same amount of Bleed is inflicted on all other enemies, which might be useful in scenarios where there is pressure from multiple enemies at a single time. 

Fan Li

Fan Li is a healer/support in early gameplay. He is useful in offering steady healing over time rather than burst restores. His basic attack skill Conquest of Wu gives him a 40% chance to inflict Vulnerability on his enemies. His Awaken skill Merchant Saint also grants all teammates Merchant's Dao for quick healing. He is useful in low-difficulty story stages or sustained fights, but lacks utility or burst needed in harder content. 

Yuan Tiangang

Yuan Tiangang appears as a balanced character with moderate stats and some debuff or utility potential. Using his basic attack skill Heaven Diviner, he can summon snake spirits that deal upto 135% ATK damage on enemies. His Awaken skill Calculation of Fate is useful as it can fully restore the Vitality of any one ally and also increase ATK DMG by an extra 10%. However, you should only use him in themed compositions rather than in the frontline.
