Saber's Build Guide for Honkai Star Rail 3.4 

Saber is about to be a meta character in the upcoming version, due to her strong abilities. So let's break down those abilities so players can build her properly for maximum damage output on the field.  

Saber's Kit 

Saber has some powerful skills that might be meta-breaking if used properly. All of her abilities are listed below:  

• Basic Attack - With her Basic Attack she can deal Wind DMG to a single designated target.  
• Enhanced Basic Attack - When this ability is triggered, Saber receives two stacks of “Core Resonance”, and hits her foes with massive Wind DMG. This attack applies to all the enemies that are present on the field, and this attack deals more damage depending on the number of enemies, 
• Skill - Saber can deal huge amounts of Wind DMG with her skill on a selected target and its adjacent foe. During the skill usage, if Saber regenerates her Energy using “Core Resonance” stacks, then this ability will hit the foes instantly with additional Wind DMG, which is equivalent to the number of stacks she consumes.  
• Ultimate - When Saber activates her Ultimate, she can deal an enormous amount of Wind DMG to all the enemies on the field. Also, after she uses her Ultimate, her Basic Attack gets buffed to the enhanced version. 
• Talent - Due to Saber's unique talent, her output damage gets buffed when an ally unleashes their ultimate ability. During this process, she gains three stacks of “Core Resonance” simultaneously. Also, each stack of “Core Resonance” can generate 8 Energy.  
• Technique - Due to her technique, she gets her ATK stat buffed for a couple of turns, and she receives two stacks of “Core Resonance” when she engages in a battle.  

Her kit suggests that she is gonna be a force to be reckoned with when paired with the right support units.  

Saber's Eidolons  

In simple terms, Eidolons are the character abilities that are locked behind a paid gacha wall; if the player can afford to unlock that, then that character is about to be “Super Saiyan”. These are the Eidolons that the players should prioritise if they are planning to upgrade their unit:  

• Eidolon 1 - With Eidolon 1, her Ultimate gets buffed, which will result in an extra 60% damage output. She will also receive a stack of “Core Resonance” when her turn ends.  
• Eidolon 2 - This will let Saber ignore a certain amount of DEF of her enemy for every stack of “Core Resonance” she gains. Even her skill damage gets buffed depending on the number of “Core Resonance” stacks she has.  
• Eidolon 4 - Saber will receive a passive buff of 8% for her Wind RES PEN. Apart from this, her RES PEN gets boosted by 4% every time she uses her Ultimate ability.  
• Eidolon 6 - Saber will regenerate 300 energy for herself, after using her first ultimate in a fight.  

Pre-farm Guide for Saber 

Saber is an upcoming character who will make her debut as a playable unit in the first phase of 3.4v. She will be a Destruction Path unit, meaning she will be able to deal AoE as well as single-target Wind DMG.

• Conqueror's Will, Usurper's Scheme, and Thief's Instinct - can be collected by defeating Antimatter Legion.

• Credits - Various in-game quests.

Best Teams for Saber 

Saber performs exceptionally well when paired with support units who can amplify her damage output. In that sense, there are quite a handful of characters who excel in amplifying others' damage output.

Saber + Sunday + Robin + Hyacine  

In this team comp, Sunday can fast forward the action of Saber by 100% when he uses his skill, while Robin makes sure to amplify her ATK values, while Hyacine makes sure the team stands strong against the toughest of enemies with strong incoming heals and follow-up attacks via Little Ica.  

With so much buff, Saber can definitely create havoc on the field, needless to say, but this is the current best team for Saber in this version.  

Saber + Bronya + SilverWolf + Hyacine  

In this comp, Bronya will be the main buffer for Saber. She can buff Saber with ATK, Crit buffs, and extra turns with her skill usage, while Bronya's ultimate will provide Saber with a talent stack. While SilverWolf will be busy DEF shredding her enemies and implanting Wind Weakness, making it easy for Saber to break through most of her enemies in a single slash. While Hyacine makes sure the team stands tall against the strongest of the foes.
