Arknights: Endfield Pity System & Banner Guide: Pull Rates Explained

Jan 23, 2026

Arknights: Endfield is an exciting evolution of the Arknights series, bringing a fresh take to the "gacha" mechanic. To the uninitiated, gacha is a system where you spend in-game currency to randomly receive characters or items. In order to make it fair, the developers include a "pity system,” a safety net that protects you against not being left empty-handed if some streak of bad luck sets in. The following guide will explain in detail how the rates, pity, and guarantee systems work in Endfield.

Character Gacha (Operators)

Operators are also called as characters. To obtain new ones, you do this with a currency called Oroberyl. A single pull costs 500 Oroberyl and a 10-pull is going to cost 5,000.

The Basic Odds

Before any safety nets start working, every time you click "pull," these are your base chances:

  • 6-Star (Highest Rarity): 0.8%
  • 5-Star: 8%
  • 4-Star: 91.2%

As you can see, the chance to obtain a 6-Star naturally is very low; less than 1%, actually. That is why the pity system works well here.

Limited-Time Operator Banners

These banners feature a certain new character with a rate-up, meaning if you get a 6-star, it’s more likely to be them.

  • 10 Pull Guarantee: Every 10 pulls, you will be guaranteed to receive at least one 5-star Operator. Pulling 9 and getting only 4-stars? Well, pull number 10 will absolutely be a 5-star, or better. This progress carries over: pulling 5 times on one banner and stopping means you'll only need 5 more pulls on the next banner for your guaranteed 5-star.
  • Soft Pity (The 65-Pull Mark): If you're out of luck and you hit 65 pulls without a 6-star, the game starts helps you. From pull 66 onwards, that 0.8% chance for a 6-star increases by 5% every single pull.
  1. Pull 66: 5.8%
  2. Pull 67: 10.8%
  3. Pull 68: 15.8%

This continues until you finally have the chance to see the 6-star shine. Getting a 6-Star, this bonus resets to zero.

  • Hard Pity (The 80-Pull Mark): If for some reason you get to 80 pulls without that 6-Star, the game will give you one automatically on that 80th pull. This 80-pull counter carries over between limited banners. This is great for players who want to save their pity for a future character they really want.
  • The 50/50 Rule: When you finally see a 6-Star, there is a 50% it will be the featured character on the banner and a 50% chance it's someone else from standard pull. Unlike some other games, when you lose this 50/50, it doesn't mean the next is a sure win. You might just theoretically lose the 50/50 several times in a row.
  • 120 Pulls Ultimate Guarantee: At this point, Endfield has protection to not lose the 50/50 forever. Endfield has a 120 pulls safety net. With this, if one pulls a single banner 120 times, they will be guaranteed to get the featured 6-Star character.

Important: This counter does NOT carry over. If you do 110 pulls on one banner and it ends, you lose that progress toward the 120-pull guarantee. You must hit 120 on a single banner to use this.

The Standard and Beginner Banners

The Standard Banner features characters that can always be found in the game. It features a low probability of 0.8% for 6 stars and a guaranteed character in 80 pulls. If you achieve 300 pulls on the banner, you can get a free choice of your desired standard character for 6 stars.

The New Horizons (Beginner) Banner: New players have a special deal. Only 4,000 for a 10-pull Oroberyl, with a discount of 20%. You are assured to get a 6-star within your first 50 pulls. Once you get that 6-star, the banner disappeared.

Weapon Gacha: The Arsenal System

Weapons work a bit differently. You usually don't buy pulls of weapons with Oroberyl; you earn Arsenal Tickets using drawings of characters.

How to earn Arsenal Tickets:

  • Pulling a 6-Star Op: 1500 Tickets
  • Pull a 5-Star Op: 500 Tickets
  • 4-Star Op Pull: 50 Tickets

A standard 10-pull on a character banner usually yields at least 380 Tickets.

Weapon Rates (10-Pull costs 2,980 Tickets):

  • 6-Star Weapon: 4%
  • 5-Star Weapon: 15%
  • 4-Star Weapon: 81%,

Note: You can only do 10 pulls on the weapon banner.

The Weapon Pity Mechanics

  • 6-star guarantee (40 pulls): You are guaranteed to get a 6-star character every 40 pulls, but only with a 25% chance of getting it, and also it's the featured one.
  • Featured Weapon Guarantee (80 Pulls): You are guaranteed the featured weapon at 80 pulls.
  • Arms Offering (100 Pulls): A selector for any standard 6-star weapon is given at 100 pulls.
  • No Carry Over: The pity of a weapon is completely cleared when a banner changes. Don't pull unless that you are able to achieve your goal.

Special Rewards and Mechanics

  • AIC Permit (Dossier): After 60 pulls on the limited banner, there is a free 10 pull ticket permit. Warning: This permit is only good until the end of the current banner. Use it immediately.
  • Ghost Pool: When the limited banner cycle ends, that character remains in the “off rate” pool for the next two limited banners. If you lose in a 50/50, you might get a strong character from the previous month.
  • Free Tickets: You can get a majority of 5,000 free Arsenal Tickets every week by playing the Algorithmic Memories challenge mode.

Strategic Tips for Success

For Character Banner

One must always follow the 120-pull rule before making any payments regarding the limited banner. There is also the 80-pull pity that provides any 6-star carries over to future banners; the 120-pull guarantee for the featured Operator does not. And if you stop when you reach 90 or 100 pulls, and the banner may also be ending, that progress will be lost. Also, remember to keep the rule of 50/50 in mind. You can lose it more than once, so luck alone is just not reliable. Reaching 120 pulls is the only way to be fully secured of having the featured character without any risk.

For Weapons Banner

The weapon pity never carries over, so only spend Arsenal Tickets if you have 23,840 tickets ready for the full 80 pull guarantee; stopping at 60-70 pulls gives no progress for future banners and wastes your tickets. Always check the Exchange Shop first-if a strong weapon is available, buying it directly is a lot safer and does not risk the featured rate on the banner of 25%. Also, complete Algorithmic Memories every week so that you get around 5,000 free tickets to save resources and depend less on character pulls for weapons.
