What is Co-op?

This is where Co-op comes in. Co-op is a game feature that allows you to group up with your friends or any other player to complete missions together. This will make your fights easier and you can use Co-op to get all the rewards from Difficulty levels 1-4. As for Difficulty 5 and 6, if you are just looking to complete the stage you can do it in Co-op but you must play as a single player to obtain the rewards.

Tip: You can use Random Matchmaking till difficulty 3, but from 4 onwards it is recommended to use Arranged players and all of you should be in the same world.

Mechanics of the mode

This permanent endgame demands well-honed skills and a good team composition. There are 6 stages based on difficulty that are as follows: 

• Normal (I), 
• Advancing(II),  
• Hard(III),  
• Menacing(IV),  
• Fearless(V),
• and Dire(VI). 

You need to fight against 3 bosses and defeat them on each corresponding difficulty to unlock all the rewards of the event. Additionally, you don't need to fight at every difficulty i.e. if you can defeat the boss on difficulty III, you will obtain all the rewards of that stage plus the rewards of the lower stages.

Strategy Making

For stages 1-4, you are allowed to use the characters repeatedly in the fights. However, for 5 and 6, this is where things get difficult because you have to form 3 lineups each containing 4 characters in order to complete the stage. Additionally, you will also need to know that starting from stage 5, bosses will gain new mechanics that can make them completely overpowered. Try to make use of the advantageous elements for a smooth victory.

Bosses and Lineups to defeat them

Hydro Tulpa

This is the first boss you will face in any of the stages. As the name suggests, it is made of hydro therefore the boss is completely immune to hydro damage. The hydro element has a disadvantage against this boss while the Pyro element has the upper hand. It summons little minions that have an HP of about 12% of Hydro Tulpa. Characters of Cryo are effective as freezing the minions instantly deletes them. At stage 5, the boss also gains a shield which can be quite troublesome. 

The lineup – Pyro Main DPS and one Cryo Main Characters are most suited for this battle such as,

• Mavuika
• Xilonen
• Citlali
• Bennett 

For Co-op Battle - 2 DPS (preferably Pyro), 1 Cryo, and 1 Shielder will be the most optimal composition.

Lava Dragon

The lava dragon is a tricky boss that has a high resistance against damages in Phase 1 and 2. You will need to fill up a circle with continuous Pyro damage to bring the phase from 1 to 2 then from 2 to 3 again. Pyro has an elemental advantage while taking Cyro and Hydro will lead the Phase to go in a reverse mode. During the initial phases, you should focus on filling up the circle with Pyro DMG so you can quickly reach the 3rd Phase when it is the most vulnerable. 

The lineup – Dendro and Pyro Mains will be the most effective against Lava Dragon.

• Kinich
• Emilie
• Dehya
• Bennett

For Co-op Battle - 2 Dendro and 2 Pyro composition is the most optimal composition.

Secret Source Automaton

Like the Lava dragon, this boss also has a resistance of 270% in normal phase and cooled has 30% while Racist has 110%. Additionally, during the cooled phase Cyro has -30% resistance.  When the circle depletes, it gives you 36 energy for one time only. This boss has the worst team flexibility difficulty 5+. It is also recommended to bring 2 Cryo mains for an easy ride.

The lineup - As the boss has less resistance against Cryo Mains, they are highly recommended.

• Skirk
• Shenhe
• Furina
• Escoffier

For Co-op Battle: 2 Cryo DPS and 2 Any Element will be the most optimal composition.
