Introduction
This Mega Gengar-Ex deck focuses on oppressive presence and ability to punish poor plays. Using Pecharunt ex, Janine’s Secret Art, and Toxtricity, the deck applies constant Poison and chip damage which will soften the target while disrupting the opponent’s setup with Iono and Boss’s Orders. Once the targets are weakened, Mega Gengar Ex will come to finish them off as the primary attacker.

Toxtricity
Toxtricity is a Stage I dark type pokemon card that runs on Dark Energy. It has a decent HP pool of 140. Its ability called “Sinister Surge” will allow you to search your deck for a basic energy and attach it to 1 of your benched pokemon once every turn. It then shuffles the deck. Using this way, you have to place 2 damage counters on that Pokemon.

Okidogi Ex
Okigogi Ex is a Basic dark type pokemon card that fuels on dark energy. It has a good amount of sustain with a HP pool of 250. Its ability is called “Poisonous Musculature” that requires 1 Colourless energy .It searches your deck for up to 2 basic energy cards and attach them to this Pokemon. Then, shuffle your deck. If you attach Energy to a Pokemon in this way, this Pokemon is now Poisoned.
- Chain Crazed
- Cost – 2 Dark and 1 Colourless
- Damage - 130+
- If this Pokemon is poisoned, this attack deals extra 130 damage.
Pecharunt Ex
Pecharunt Ex is a basic dark type pokemon card that also uses dark energy. The card has a 190 HP pool and its ability called “Subjugating Chains” allows you to switch one of your benched Pokemon except any Pecharunt Ex, with your active Pokemon. If you do, then the new Active Pokemon is now Poisoned, You can’t use more than one Subjugating Chains ability in a single turn.
- Irritated Outburst
- Cost – 2 Dark Energy
- Damage – 60x
- This attack does 60 damage for each Prize card your opponent has taken.
Munkidori Ex
Munkidori is a basic dark type pokemon with 210 HP. It’s ability is called “Oh No You Don’t” that says if this Pokemon is Knocked Out by damage from an attack from your opponent’s Pokemon and if you have a Pechurant Ex in play then your opponent takes one fewer prize card.
- Dirty Headbutt
- Cost – 2 Dark Energy and 1 Colourless
- Damage – 190
- During your next turn, this pokemon can’t use this skill.
Mega Gengar Ex
Mega Gengar Ex is a Stage 2 dark type Pokemon with a massive 350 HP. It’s ability is called “Shadowy Concealment” which says if one of your dark pokemon is knocked out by damage from an attack from your opponent’s Pokemon ex, that player takes one fewer prize card. The effect of Shadowy Concealment doesn’t stack.
- Void Gale
- Cost – 2 Dark Energy
- Damage – 230
- Move an energy from this Pokemon to one of your Benched Pokemon
Roaring Moon Ex
Roaring Moon Ex is a basic dark type Pokemon with 230 HP.
- Frenzied Gougin
- Cost – 2 Dark Energy and 1 Colourless
- Knock out your opponent’s active Pokemon. If your opponent’s active pokemon is knocked out in this way, this pokemon does 200 damage to itself.
- Calamity Storm
- Cost - 2 Dark Energy and 1 Colourless
- Damage – 100+
- You may discard a Stadium in play and if you do, this attack does extra 120 damage.
Fezandipiti Ex
Fezandipiti Ex is a basic dark type Pokemon with 210 HP. Its ability is called “Flip the Script” and can be used once during your turn. If any of your pokemon were knocked out during your opponent’s last turn, you may draw 3 cards. This ability can’t be used more than 1 time per turn.
- Cruel Arrow
- Cost – 3 colourless energy
- This attack does 100 damage to one of your opponent’s Pokemon.
