Introducing Skew N Sort. Sort various types of street food items into the same skewer to solve the puzzle. Solve puzzles and move on to more challenging levels.

The gameplay for Skew N Sort is fairly simple. Instead of sorting liquids, you have to move the different types of food types and group them together in one skewer. When you’ve grouped all the food items in the level into the correct skewers, then you’ve completed the level.

With every completed level, the difficulty increases. Depending on the difficulty you’ve selected, you must complete the puzzle before the timer runs out. More street food items will be introduced. You’ll also need to be careful in choosing which food items to sort first. You can only move the same type of food on top of each other. If you choose the wrong food to sort first, then you might be stuck, and it will be game over! Solve the level by the most optimal sorting sequence of the food items into its skewer, and you’ll score 3 stars at that level. Complete all the puzzles with 3 stars for that perfectionist satisfaction! 

Skew N Sort is inspired by the various night market scenes in Asia. Trucks selling an assortment of street food items can be found in almost every night market. From slices of vegetables, seafood and, of course, meaty delights. Some inspirations and street foods that we got from all over Asia are:

Sate (Indonesia)
Lok-lok (Malaysia)
KKochi (Korea)
Tanghulu (China) 
Yakitori (Japan)

If you’ve experienced eating at one of these street food trucks or restaurants, you’ll know that most of the street food items are neatly sorted into skewers.  Which brings us to the inspiration of the gameplay. The game brings the spirit of this beloved regional activity in the form of a sorting puzzle game that can be played by anyone.

The game also features relaxing sounds of sizzling food in the background, giving a more intimate and immersive experience to anyone who plays it. Enjoy the relaxing night market atmosphere as you try to solve the puzzle before the timer runs out. Savor the cute designs of various food items as you sort them into the right skewers.
