Vietnam-based game company VNG Games is set to release its new mobile MMORPG, Cloud Song: Saga of Skywalkers, soon in the Southeast Asian region this year. Cloud Song is a free-to-play game and will be available for both Android and iOS.
The game assigns players the role of a Skywalker, sending them off on a journey and exploration to a city above the sky. In their adventure, they will be controlling cute characters in the style of exquisite classic European animation.
Cloud Song offers players five basic classes to choose from. They include Mage, Archer, Swordsman, Oracle, and Rogue, and these classes branch out to two advanced classes as well. In addition, players can choose up to ten distinct classes such as Pyromage, Sharpshooter, or Destroyer.
Skywalkers can also customize the appearance of their characters. They have the option to redesign their character's face, hairstyle, eyes, and other features that will fit their persona. It is also not gender-locked. They are free to choose the gender they want for all of the classes available.
Moreover, players can increase their character's skills as well as power and attack rates through level-ups, equipment upgrades, or the unique Rune System. Also, the ordinary gear can be enhanced with a wide range of customization options.
To make your journey more thrilling around the new fantasy world, you can also own a pet. Each pet has its own element, such as Wind, Water, Earth, and Fire. These pets will be able to join players' fights, be upgraded, and have their own rarity class.
The game also features various player vs. player (PvP) and player vs. environment (PvE) modes for users to grab exciting rewards. In PvP, they can fight offline to get a medal, do Guild War to get the resource that will benefit their character, duel or PK to get the title Champion and Exclusive Frame, or join cross-server war in Star & Moon Battlefield. There's also a Battle Royale mode.
Meanwhile, in PvE, there are scheduled challenges every day, in which players must defeat different bosses to get plenty of rewards. Obtaining rewards from PvP and PvE will contribute to character upgrades.
Cloud Song has opened its pre-registration for Southeast Asian regions from July 23 to August 18. These rewards are exclusive for the region of the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
