Once you have reviewed the issues, you can clear those codes directly, putting dealership-level diagnostics in your own hands.
A core strength of the app is its ability to display live sensor data in real time. You can monitor critical parameters including oil temperature, boost pressure, and many other values, then arrange them into a custom dashboard that fits your specific needs. For those who want to tailor their car's character, the app provides direct control over the factory exhaust flap, allowing you to manually choose an open or closed position. If the artificial engine sound pumped through the speakers is not to your liking, the Active Sound Design can be muted completely. Owners of vehicles equipped with the S55 engine, such as the M2 Competition, M3, and M4, gain access to a Sound Tuning feature that disables the exhaust burble effect.
Maintenance and service functions are deeply integrated into the app's design. Diesel vehicle owners can check the current state of the diesel particulate filter (DPF), reviewing metrics like ash accumulation and the timing of the last regeneration cycle. A manual regeneration can be triggered with a simple button press when necessary.
