Zoom Earth - Weather Forecast (macOS)
Play Zoom Earth - Weather Forecast on PC and Mac
Zoom Earth - Weather Forecast, developed by Neave Interactive, is a powerful interactive weather map that turns global meteorological data into a visual, real-time experience. From tracking hurricanes as they form to watching rain radar sweep across your region, this weather app blends satellite imagery, forecast models, and live storm tracking into one accessible tool. Playing it on PC through MuMuPlayer gives you the same weather intelligence on a much larger screen, making it easier to explore wind patterns, temperature shifts, and precipitation forecasts with desktop-level clarity and control.
About the Game
Zoom Earth - Weather Forecast by Neave Interactive is a comprehensive interactive weather map built for anyone who wants to see global conditions in near real time. The app brings together live satellite imagery, radar data, forecast models, and tropical storm tracking in one visual workspace. With MuMuPlayer, you can run Zoom Earth on Mac or macOS devices and explore these weather layers with the speed and screen space of a desktop environment.
SATELLITE VIEWS AND LIVE UPDATES
Zoom Earth pulls imagery from NOAA GOES, JMA Himawari, and EUMETSAT Meteosat geostationary satellites. These satellite views refresh roughly every 10 minutes, giving you a near-live look at cloud cover, storm systems, and atmospheric movement around the planet. Higher resolution images from NASA's Aqua and Terra polar-orbiting satellites are added twice daily, offering a sharper view of the Earth's surface and cloud structures.
RAIN RADAR AND SHORT-TERM FORECASTS
The rain radar layer detects precipitation and snow using ground-based Doppler radar. It updates in real time and includes a nowcasting feature that projects short-term weather movement, so you can see whether rain is heading toward your area before it arrives. This is especially useful when used on a Mac through MuMuPlayer, where the larger display makes radar loops and storm paths easier to follow.
GLOBAL FORECAST MAPS
Zoom Earth offers forecast maps built from DWD ICON and NOAA/NCEP/NWS GFS model data. These visualizations are updated continuously and cover several weather variables:
- Precipitation Forecast: rain, snow, and cloud cover combined in one map.
- Wind Speed Forecast: average surface wind speed and direction.
- Wind Gusts Forecast: maximum speed of sudden wind bursts.
- Temperature Forecast: air temperature at 2 meters above ground.
- Feels Like Temperature Forecast: apparent temperature or heat index.
- Relative Humidity Forecast: how air moisture compares to temperature.
- Dew Point Temperature Forecast: how dry or humid the air feels.
- Wet-Bulb Temperature Forecast: areas where heat stress risk is higher.
- Atmospheric Pressure Forecast: sea-level pressure patterns, where low pressure often brings cloud and wind while high pressure brings clearer skies.
Each of these layers can be viewed as an animated map, and the desktop experience through MuMuPlayer on Mac or MacBook makes switching between them much faster than on a smaller phone screen.
HURRICANE AND WILDFIRE TRACKING
For severe weather, Zoom Earth includes a tropical tracking system that follows hurricanes from early development through category 5. Data comes from NHC, JTWC, NRL, and IBTrACS, and the display is designed to be clear and easy to read. The wildfire tracking overlay shows active fires and heat spots detected by satellite, with detections updated daily using NASA FIRMS data. Combined with GeoColor satellite imagery, you can watch wildfire smoke drift and monitor fire weather conditions in near real time.
CUSTOMIZATION AND PRO FEATURES
Settings let you adjust temperature units, wind units, time zone, animation style, and other display preferences. Zoom Earth Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription, with payment charged to your Google Play account at purchase confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
