Main Event: Frosty Funland
The Frosty Funland event in BGMI was released on 13th November, 2025 and brought a new package of themed maps and other interesting features including the exclusive NPCs.
Theme Map Areas
1. Penguinville
Penguinville is the main Snow Festival City which will be the main highlight of the new v4.1.0 BGMI update. It is a massive winter themed city which has the penguins which have migrated in from their glaciers. The design of the city is that of the arctic snow map where Santa resides and the devs have also added some extra interesting features.

Updates in Classic Mode
With the BGMI 4.1 Version, the devs have also added new updates in the OG classic modes which includes:
- Two new outdoor supply items – Wild Berries and Loot Truck: The Wild berries are random spawned consumables that restore HP and energy + gives extra surprises upon harvesting. On the other hand, the Loot Truck rotates the map and drops loot if you damage it or destroy it.
- Loot box: After killing an enemy, the player can now carry the enemy’s loot box.
- Customizations: For the customizations they have made the joystick toggleable for the Horse Control and for the themed control setups, they added the Keybind Tab.
- Weapon optimizations
- FAMAS got a new magazine attachment slot.
- For AR and Shotguns, damage has been decreased at longer range for ARs and the overall base damage for shotguns has been reduced too.
- Bullet velocity has been made to decrease over the time.
- Some SR guns including SKS, SLR and MK14 gained improved stability.
- New Frame Rate: For selected devices, players can now access 90 and 120 FPS.
- In-Game Store Updates: Players can see new packages that are Premium Gun and Resurrection. Moreover, prices for items have been discounted and can receive first purchase bonus rewards.

The latest update brings significant enhancements to Arena Mode, offering both competitive depth and fresh gameplay variety. For the improvements, players will get new objective(s) i.e 7 kills and 9 kills, and WoW maps are also added in the Arena mode.
The 4.1 update has brought a new rank system called Arena Ranked Match which starts from 27th November, 2025 and will run till 1st December, 2025. To enter the Ranked mode, players need to enter through the Arena tab and compete in multiple modes including Warehouse, Hangar, Ruins and Town.
