Basic Info

While the Initial and Shikai version of him are SR characters, the Bankai form is a Super  Super Rare (SSR) version of his character and his role is that of a Full Assault. Ichigo Kurasaki Bankai is one of the strongest Slash DPS type characters in the game. He is a close range, single-target output with rapid, repeated slashing attacks as his core abilities. Skills

Here are the skills and abilities of Ichigo Kurasaki Bankai form:

1. Dodge

The dodge skill is what they call a Flash Step in the anime which is a very high-speed transition to change positions in the battlefield. Use it to avoid any incoming attacks before they hit you.

When a Perfect Dodge is triggered, it activates the True Time Freeze effect for a duration of 1.5 seconds. During this effect, Ichigo gains 15% ASPD and 25% Movement Speed. This effect has a 15 seconds cooldown before you can trigger it again.

2. Counter

After dodging an enemy attack, Ichigo performs a rapid counterattack using Tensa Zangetsu that deals 505% damage and launches the attacker. Then Tap the attack to follow up with a special attack. The final strike of the counterattack will inflict 1 stack of Getsuga and while this skill is active, Ichigo gains invincibility.

Hollowfication - Counter

During the Hollowfied state, after a successful dodge against the enemy’s attack, Ichigo performs a rapid counterattack with Tensa Zangetsu that deals 505% damage and the next attack will deal 568.12% damage.

3. Basic Attack - Super High Speed Slash

The SHSS is ichigo’s basic attack where he strikes the enemy 5 times with Tensa Zangetsu, dealing damage equal to 247% of ATK and gaining Spiritual Pressure. If you pause after the 3rd strike, Ichigo will charge briefly and perform a special attack when the glow appears.

During the Hollowfied state, Ichigo’s abilities are greatly enhanced and increase the total damage of Basic Attack – Super High Speed Slash.

4. Special Attack - Tenbu Renjin

For the special attack, Ichigo slashes 6 times in rapid succession and deals damage equal to 179% of ATK.

5. Passive - Getsuga

The core passive of Ichigo Kurosaki bankai is Getsuga where the special attacks prioritise enemies inflicted with the Getsuga Mark. Getsuga has 3 Enhancement Passives:

• Follow-up Attack: Ichigo deals 18.75% more damage against enemies with the Getsuga Mark.
• Mask of Hollow: During hollowfication, performing any special attacks increases the damage of the next Ultimate Deathblow by 15%. This passive can be stacked up to 4 times.
• Spirit Surge: When Ichigo’s Crit Rate exceeds 100%, the Crit DMG gets increased by 1.5% for every 1% extra Crit Rate.

6. Technique - Getsugatensho

The Getsugatensho has two forms:

Bankai State: During this form, using the Getsugatensho will unleash a dark sword wave that strikes the target from a distance. This will deal damage equal to 23% of ATK and inflict one stack of Getsuga for 5 seconds. Moreover, tapping the attack when the technique hits will trigger a dash forward special attack.

Hollowfied State: While in Hollowfication status, Ichigo releases Getsugatensho twice in a row, dealing 348% damage twice to the enemy.

7. Ultimate - Hollowfication

Activating the ultimate, Ichigo enters the Hollowfication status for 10 seconds and resets the cooldown of Getsugatensho. In this form, Ichigo gains the following effects:

• Hard to interrupt
• Increased damage
• HP won’t drop below 1

Deathblow

The Getsugatensho used during the hollowfied state is dark in color and infused with the Force of Hollow that deals 497% damage to the target.
