COD Mobile Season 9 Zombies are Back update New map, modes, and more

Season 9 2022, dubbed Zombies are Back, will be released on October 12th, 2022 at 5:30 a.m. IST, bringing brand-new combat to COD Mobile. In honor of Halloween, the Call of Duty: Mobile Zombies Are Back update brings back the zombies on the map Shi No Numa with not one, but two game modes: Super Attack of the Undead and Zombies Classic. Experience a haunting on the brand-new multiplayer level Haunted Hacienda, throw C4 at opponents for long-distance destruction, and feed Naga - Ghost of War's ravenous appetite for sweets in exchange for rewards.

COD Mobile Season 9 2022: Battle Pass

Season 9 introduces a new Battle Pass, which includes both free and premium items such as new Operators, a new functional weapon, a new throwable Lethal, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, Charms, Call of Duty Points (CP), and more.

Battle Pass Free Tiers

The traditional remote-detonated C4 is unlocked at Tier 14 of the free Battle Pass content for this season, followed by the brand-new Krig 6 Assault Rifle at Tier 21. The Calling Card – Misty Seas, a number of camos, and Weapon Blueprints are additional free goodies for this season.

Premium Pass Tiers

Purchase the Battle Pass for the chance to earn all of the content available in the Zombies Are Back  stream, including new Operator Skins like Kui Ji — Sapporo Stealth, Domino — Carbon Smoke, Zero — Dark Sails, and Merc 5 — Sea Monster. Other premium Battle Pass rewards include Weapon Blueprints for the ICR-1, SKS, GKS, Chopper, and the new Krig 6.

 

Zombies are returning back in the COD Mobile Season 9 2022 update

Zombies Classic: Brave Shi No Numa, also known as the Swamp of Death, as you and your squad attempt to survive the rounds while being attacked by the undead. Get your Perks and go to the Mystery Box; you're going to need all the help you can get.

Super Undead Attack: Deploy as a full group of survivors until one is chosen at random at the start of the match to join the undead. In this new version of the mode, the game continues until only one human or zombie remains standing. As the game progresses, both the infected and survivors gain new abilities.

 

New Multiplayer map: Haunted Hacienda

Halloween arrives at the opulent grape estate as Hacienda is transformed for the season, with a terrifying line of ships stationed just off the lakeside. As dusk falls, either move the battle to the mansion and avoid the central courtyard, or fight on the estate grounds. To avoid succumbing to the new haunting's dread, keep your head up as you navigate the matches ahead.

 

New Themed event: Haunted Voyage

The themed event Haunted Voyage encourages you to indulge your sweet tooth while earning rewards. Earn Halloween Coins to design Halloween Candies, play games, and complete daily and weekly goals in Multiplayer and Battle Royale.

By eating various candies that give you different amounts of points, you can obtain rewards such as Parachute — Sapphire Skulls, HS0405 — Electric Eel, Rytec AMR — Blue Skeletons, and the Battle Hardened — Neon Fire Operator Skin. Complete these objectives and begin stockpiling those treats because the top three players on the event leaderboard will receive additional rewards.

 

New Seasonal Challenges in COD Mobile Season 9 2022

Season 9 introduces new Seasonal Challenges with rewards such as new Weapon Blueprints, Operator Skins, and up to 30,000 Battle Pass XP. More information will be available in-game throughout the season, including a challenge that, when completed, unlocks the new Underbarrel Stun Gun attachment for the Pharo SMG.

 

COD Mobile Season 9 2022: Store updates

Return to the in-game Store throughout the season to obtain new Weapon Blueprints and Operator Skins that will make your opponents' skin crawl. The new Cold Embrace Mythic Draw, which includes the Legendary Dark Shepherd — Arctic Death Skin and the Krig 6 — Ice Drake Mythic-rare Assault Rifle, leads the pack.

Other terrifying combinations include the Type 25 — Hell's Horse and Naga — Ghost of War; the Thumper — Surprise Party and Gunzo — Devil Jester. With the Swordfish — Aquatic Slayer and Jackal — Aquatic Reaper, or the Pharo — Submarine-008 and Manta Ray — Bulletproof Diver, you can become a nautical haunt.
