S-Tier
These artifacts are the most powerful ones in the game. You can use them in almost any build and you also get the most benefits from these in both PvE and PvP.
Ring of Abundance
This is an overshield-slot artifact and boosts potency to healing and overshields you get by 48%. Because of this increased durability it is one of the best defensive items in the game.
Chiaroscuro
This is a survival-slot artifact. It reduces damage you take by 25% but also reduces your healing by 50% when you have more than 50% health. If you can position yourself well to maintain your health above 50% and survive long enough then at the end you will have a lot more durability than your opponent.
Resolute Conjunction
This is a defensive artifact and reduces the damage you take from enemies or traps within 15 metres by 35%. It is really useful in close range combat or melee builds where you have to stay near your enemies most of the time.
Resolute Nutation
This artifact gives you a 2.5% boost to damage resistance for 3 seconds when you get hit with a weapon or an ability. This is special because you can stack it up to 10 times. It is really helpful in long battles.
A-Tier
A-Tier artifacts are very strong but you have to combine them with the right builds or playstyles. These are not the best artifacts in the game but you can still use them against some S-tier artifacts if you optimize them properly.
Nourishing Pact
This artifact can restore 20% of health when summoning. If you choose a summoner-style build or character that uses clone or pet summons a lot then this artifact can be really useful in longer fights.
Warding Pact
When you use this artifact then for every summon that is active you gain one stack of ward and reduce damage by 11% per stack (up to 3 stacks). This artifact can make your summoner a very durable frontliner.
Abundant Planetesimal
This artifact can restore 2.5% of your health every second for 5 seconds. You can stack this up to 3 times as well. If you have a setup that uses a lot of abilities and you need to cast very frequently then you should definitely go for this.
Ring of Healing
This artifact protects you by an overshield and can recover 4.39% of health every second. You can get very reliable sustain for builds that focus on shield-based tanks.
Unrelenting Subgravity / Ground
Using Unrelenting Subgravity you can reduce the damage you take by 30% when you are above the ground. In Unrelenting Ground you can reduce the damage by 32% when you are not moving on the ground. You can use this artifact only in specific situations during a match but if you use a matching playstyle then it can be very effective.
B-Tier
B-Tier artifacts are not great but they are decent options if you are in the mid-game stage. They give decent bonuses but have limited triggers or lower potency compared to higher-tier artifacts.
Unrelenting Shell
Using this artifact when you reload then your damage resistance increases by 25% for 3 seconds.
Healing Planetesimal
With this artifact when you cast an ability you can restore your health by 30% along with a 10 second cooldown. It is somewhat reliable in short fights but because of the cooldown it is not that effective in longer fights.
Talisman of Revival
Using this artifact when you heal someone to full health you get 9.4% health regeneration every 2 seconds for 8 seconds. This is useful if you use a healer build but for general use you should probably avoid it.
Nimble Ground
This artifact reduces incoming damage by 20% when you are moving. If you use a playstyle in which you stay aggressive and moving for most of the time then this artifact can be a bit useful.
Bulwark Evolution / Token
Using this artifact when you take damage you get stacks of Armored. These stacks help to reduce incoming damage by 1.79% per stack up to 20 times. It offers strong scaling resistance, but the gradual buildup makes it weaker in burst-heavy encounters.
C-Tier
C-Tier artifacts are the weakest artifacts that you can use only in very specific scenarios.
Healing Radiation
This artifact recovers 1.05% of your health per second when you are within 20 meters of a debuffed enemy. In actual fights this condition is very rare and specific so this artifact is almost never useful.
Nimble Veil
Using this artifact when you cast a movement ability you get 14.7% damage reduction for 3 seconds. This effect is very short and you can use it only in specific situations, and there are just better artifacts for damage reduction.
Tap
This is a low-impact artifact that has very minor bonuses and you should definitely not waste your slot for such little offering.
