How to Get Nihilister in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE

Nihilister is one of the best characters in Goddess of Victory: Nikke. In fact, she is the best waifu for any of your teams. She is a former member of the Offsprings and one of the main antagonists in the storyline. Nihilister is a goddess. 

So, should you get Nihilister? Absolutely yes! If your team needs a Battery Support or Pierce Attack Bot, you should get her. She also defeats some bosses with ease compared to other characters in the game. While she has the tag of attacker, she is not exactly a normal DPS character. Nihilister cannot deal that much damage compared to other DPS characters. In the end, the choice is yours, whether you get her or not, it is up to you. In this guide, we will discuss how to get Nihilister in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE. Let’s get started!

Getting Nihilister in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE 

Adding Nihilister to your roster is an easy task. You get her from Liberation mode. However, there are two requirements. The requirements are: 

• Completing stage 20 to stage 31 in the campaign 
• Completion of at least one rehabilitation of a Nikke 

If you have met the requirements, you can access Nihilister in the Liberation section on the Character page. If we go in-depth, here is what you need to do. 

• Clear the Campaign Stages 
• Complete One Initial Liberation Rehabilitation 
• Access Nihilister 
• Start the rehabilitation of Nihilister 

Clear the Campaign Stages 

In the set of requirements, completing the stages 20 to 31 is a must. Basically, you are completing chapter 20. So, that means you will have to defeat the boss of that chapter. Now, if you are starting out in the game, go for the following lineup: 

• Centi 
• Scarlet 
• Privaty 
• Modernia 
• Liter 

This team can push you forward in chapter 20. You can have other team lineups. This lineup is suitable if you have a low combat power rating. If you have cleared it, move on to the next step. 

Complete One Initial Liberation Rehabilitation 

On completing chapter 20 of the Campaign, you will get access to the Liberation system. This system is good, and it is where you will get Nihilister. Again, assuming you have the system, try to speedrun through the objectives.  

Speedrunning the liberation system is easy, follow the given steps: 

• Select a Nikke. It can be any of the initial targets, Sin, Guilty or Quincy are some popular options.  
• After selecting a Nikke, reach and grind to the first milestone.  
• On achieving the first milestone, go back to the selection window and select to rehabilitate any other Nikke.  
• Then switch back to your first Nikke choice. Doing this step will reset the rehabilitation missions. In essence, it will speed up the process by one day for each of the milestones.  

This method works, but the grind is still prevalent. So, it will lessen your burden and the grind required. But, it will help you speedrun and rehabilitate a Nikke.  

Accessing Nihilister 

After you complete steps one and two, you will unlock Nihilister in the Liberation section. So, go to the Liberation section on the Character page. You will find the Liberation button on the upper left corner of the Character page. From there you will see that Nihilister is available for rehabilitation.  

Start the rehabilitation of Nihilister 

If you have met the requirements and followed all of the steps, you can start the rehabilitation of Nihilister. Again, here you can use the previous steps to rehabilitate Nihilister faster.  

Clearing Stage 20 to Stage 31 In the Campaign 

Now completing the chapter will be a grind. But here are some tips to clear it faster. Before starting, let us talk about Combat Power. Preferably have a Combat Power 125,000 or above. The closer you are to 300,000 the better. At that rating, you will feel that the fight is easily manageable. If your Combat Power is less than 120,000, you will have to raise it up. At this rating, you will find the fight to be ridiculously difficult. But, if you think you have the skills for it, then shoot your shot. Otherwise, it is not worth it.  

The Team 

Here is the best team for going against Nihilister. 

1. Liter - She is one of the best supporters in the game. Especially against Nihilister, she is gold, as her HP recovery eliminates the need for a healer if you do things correctly.  
2. Modernia - If you have her, the battle will be easier. She can easily take out the projectiles and interruption points of Nihilister. 
3. Privaty - She will act as a support to Modernia. Her main use will come from her burst. The burst can easily take out the projectiles of Nihilister in the second phase. 
4. Guilty - She will be the secondary DPS in your team. Guilty with her shotgun can deal a significant amount of damage against Nihilister. 
5. Viper - Frankly speaking, any shotgun unit can be effective against Nihlister. So, feel free to mess around. 

Now, if you notice, there are no defenders in the lineup. The exclusion of defenders from the team is intentional. These stages in the campaign are DPS-oriented. So, preferably have at least one support and the rest of the team being attackers or DPS characters.  

For upgrades, focus on one of the DPS characters. Preferably push the character that is a top-tier DPS, mainly because that character can carry your team. Reach around level 800 skills, then focus on other characters. If you are following the lineup given above, push Modernia, then look towards the others. For equipment, get as many tier-nines as possible for your team.  

The Boss Fight 

The First Phase 

In the first phase, you will see Nihilister doing meteor attacks. You will have to shoot it down. Keep your eyes peeled for the interruptions of Nihilister that will pop up. They will appear for a short time, so pop your burst before it appears. The interruption points will come in a circle or a S-pattern. So, here any machine gun unit, like Modernia will work wonders.  

At the fire attack, pop your burst. Following the flame attack, Nihilister will not attack for a brief moment. So, you can attack this time at full force.  

The Second Phase 

In this phase, you will have to focus on two things. One is to dodge Nihlister’s flame attacks. The other is to attack the projectiles. In the battle, Nihilister will go out of sight. At that time, focus on the projectiles. Otherwise, keep attacking Nihilister. Remember, she is your main target that you have to hit.
