Time-travel RPG Reverse: 1999’s 3rd Anniversary update launches August 13 with Version 3.7 “On Another’s Sorrow”

Today, Bluepoch announced that Reverse: 1999, the 20th Century Time-Travel Strategic RPG, will celebrate its 3rd anniversary with the launch of Version 3.7, “On Another’s Sorrow,” on August 13 on PC and mobile.

Enjoyed by more than 19.99 million players around the world, Reverse: 1999 is a turn-based tactical gacha game that spans multiple eras, settings and styles.

In an alternate history, the supernatural “Storm” has begun on the last day of 1999, taking the world to different eras randomly. Players find themselves in the middle of a fierce battle between the pragmatic St. Pavlov Foundation, a group of Arcanists fighting to save humanity and put an end to the Storm’s devastating effects, and Manus Vindictae, a dangerous, rival Arcanist faction who seek revenge and will stop at nothing to eliminate ordinary humans.

The 3rd anniversary update introduces two new major characters. Rhiannon, a limited 6-star bird trainer, lives in seclusion in the countryside, tending to her family's mystical flock of Adar Llwch Gwin. Players can also claim the free 6-star character, Coppélia, a vital part of Manus Vindictae’s “orchestra”. The update also delivers multiple game updates, generous anniversary rewards, and two additional free playable characters.

Another character arriving in the upcoming chapter is Ms. Stranger, who is joining the cast as a 6-star character in Phase 2 of Version 3.7. As a spy sent by the Foundation to infiltrate Manus Vindictae, she uses the highly intricate arcane skill, "Phototaxis”, to overwrite her memories, allowing her to complete missions using different identities.

Part I. Abundant Freebies:

Claim a new 6-star character for free: Coppélia moulded by Manus Vindictae's endless trials and rituals. With her arm transformed into a tuning fork and her torso into a resonator, she plays an important role in their “orchestra”.

Part II. New Characters, gameplays and more

Rhiannon, a new limited 6-star character who tends to her flock of Adar Llwch Gwin, who have long protected her family in return.

Players can summon Rhiannon in the anniversary limited banner called “A Newly Hatched Chapter” and log in during the event to obtain Decatone - [A Newly Hatched Chapter] to get free 10 pulls.

Ms. Stranger arrives in Phase 2 as a new summonable 6-star character. The Foundation spy rewrites her own memories to complete undercover missions under the shadows of Manus Vindictae.

Players can summon Ms. Stranger in the anniversary limited banner called “Beneath the Guise of Her Cocoon” and log in during the event to obtain Decatone - [Beneath the Guise of Her Cocoon] to get free 10 pulls.

Massive gameplay updates:

Truth a Posteriori, a new resource management survival mode set in El Dorado.

Focused Flashback, a mode with regular updates, pitting players against monsters and challenge stages in exchange for rewards.
