What This Simplified Version Offers
This application is a simplified version created so that players can still enjoy the scenario content of Phantom Beast Contract Cryptract. It does not continue the online game itself. Instead, it gives you access to the main scenario, retsuden, and bookmarks that were released during the game's lifetime. Even if you never played the online version, you can use this app to check the story and character records that were available before the service ended.
The app serves as a historical archive of the game's eight year run. You can read through the main story, review character retsuden, and revisit bookmarks that were previously unlocked. This makes it useful for former players who want to look back at the world of Phantom Beast Contract Cryptract, as well as for new readers who are curious about its narrative.
Playing on PC with MuMuPlayer
Because this simplified version focuses heavily on reading scenario text and browsing bookmarks, playing on PC through MuMuPlayer can make the experience more comfortable. A larger display gives you more room to follow long dialogue sequences and story sections without constantly scrolling on a small phone screen. The desktop setup also helps when you want to keep the app open while checking other information or taking notes about the story.
MuMuPlayer runs the Android version of the app on your PC, so you can access the same content from a Windows desktop environment. This is especially helpful if your phone storage is limited or if you prefer using a mouse and keyboard for navigation. The simplified app may still involve some communication, so a stable desktop connection can reduce interruptions while you read.
Notes and Limitations
Please be aware that some communication may occur within this application. The simplified version may also be discontinued without notice. Support is not provided for this simplified app, so any issues should be understood as part of using an archived version of the original game.
The official Twitter account for Phantom Beast Contract Cryptract can be found at https://twitter.com/cryp_boi. Since the online service has ended, this account may serve as a historical reference rather than an active support channel.
Game Background
Phantom Beast Contract Cryptract was developed by Bank of Innovation, Inc. as a role playing game. The original online version ran for eight years and built a dedicated player base around its fantasy setting and beast contract mechanics. While this simplified version does not include the full online gameplay, it preserves the story and character content that defined the game's identity.
Whether you are a returning player or someone discovering the story for the first time, MuMuPlayer offers a straightforward way to open the app on PC. You can read the main scenario at your own pace, revisit retsuden entries, and look through bookmarks without relying on a mobile device. The archive style of this version makes it a good fit for desktop reading sessions, especially when you want to focus on the narrative without distractions.
