Baekgwi: Ink Night Survivor is a one-thumb roguelike survival action game from developer Define You, set inside a Joseon-era Korean ink-wash painting where yokai pour in every night and an ink brush is your only defense. You move, your weapons strike on their own, and you hold the line for eight minutes until the final boss arrives. On PC, MuMuPlayer lets you play this survival loop with a keyboard and mouse, a larger view of the ink-painted battlefields, and steadier performance during dense yokai swarms.
The game builds its nights around Korean folk tales and layered progression. Seven folk tale chapters (The Old Man with the Lump, the Magpie's Gratitude, the Sun and the Moon, the Baby General Uturi, Young Lord Gangnim and more) run five rounds each, and your build carries from round to round until you face that legend's boss. The Underworld Tower climbs through 70 floors of changing bosses up to the Twelve Zodiac Guardians. Treasures can be drawn, enhanced and promoted to power every run, while Spirit Beasts awaken mid-run with White Tiger charges, Azure Dragon thunderstorms and Vermilion Bird fire rain. Twenty-four evolutions open when a maxed weapon pairs with its support item, five elemental schools (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water) reshape your starting weapon each run, and six heroes fight alongside 26 Spirit Beasts. An academy of 17 studies grants permanent upgrades, a codex records every yokai and evolution, and a limited Night Parade Festival adds pumpkin lanterns, a festival boss, daily attendance, missions and a pumpkin shop.
Playing on PC with MuMuPlayer suits a game built on repeated runs and quick decisions. The keyboard and mouse setup makes it easy to steer through bullet patterns while your weapons fire automatically, and the larger screen keeps the Zodiac Guardians, omens and treasure prompts readable during busy nights. MuMuPlayer also gives you a stable place to leave long Underworld Tower climbs and festival attendance sessions running, and you can play on Mac with MuMuPlayer as well, including on a MacBook or Mac mini through MuMuPlayer. Whether you are on a Windows PC or a Mac with Apple Silicon, MuMuPlayer keeps the focus on the ink-wash survival action rather than on the device.

About the Game
Baekgwi: Ink Night Survivor takes the survival action formula and paints it into a Joseon-era Korean ink-wash world. Developed by Define You, this roguelike action game asks one simple thing of you: keep moving. Your weapons handle the attacking, so your attention stays on dodging the yokai that arrive each night. Survive for eight minutes and the final boss of the run appears. Sessions are short, playable offline, and built for one thumb, which makes the game easy to pick up on the go and just as comfortable on PC through MuMuPlayer.
The structure of a run is where the game shows its depth. Each night you choose one of the five elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal or Water. That choice changes the element of your starting weapon, so the same hero can feel different from one run to the next. As you survive, weapons and support items come together. When a weapon is maxed and paired with the right support item, a scroll appears and opens one of 24 evolutions, including Talisman Rain, One Stroke and Fire Wheel. Treasures add another layer outside the run: draw them, enhance them and promote them to strengthen every attempt. Spirit Beasts awaken during play as well, bringing White Tiger charges, Azure Dragon thunderstorms and Vermilion Bird fire rain into the fight.
The tale map gives the nights a narrative shape. Seven Korean folk tales are represented, among them The Old Man with the Lump, the Magpie's Gratitude, the Sun and the Moon, the Baby General Uturi and Young Lord Gangnim. Each chapter is cleared across five rounds, and your build carries from one round to the next, so decisions made early echo into the chapter boss fight. Beyond the tales, the Underworld Tower offers 70 floors, each with a different boss, climbing toward the Twelve Zodiac Guardians. Higher floors bring better rewards, which gives long-term players a reason to keep pushing.
Heroes and companions widen the roster. Six heroes are available: Shaman, Painter, Fox Maiden, Royal Inspector, Ink Master and Dokkaebi. They fight alongside 26 Spirit Beasts, including the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird and Black Tortoise. Twelve maps stretch from Plum Pass to Mud Valley, and the Zodiac Guardians wait at dawn. Omens can be stacked for larger rewards, and the more you stack, the redder the night becomes. An academy of 17 studies provides permanent upgrades, while an ink-painted codex records every yokai and evolution you encounter.
A limited event, the Night Parade Festival, adds a seasonal layer. Collect pumpkin lanterns, defeat the festival boss, and earn a Halloween pumpkin costume for every hero. The festival also includes a festival tale, daily attendance, missions and a pumpkin shop. The game is free to play, with no stamina system, and ads appear only when you choose to watch them. Leaderboards in Tonight's Run let you compare results with other players.
On PC, MuMuPlayer gives this kind of repeatable roguelike a comfortable home. The keyboard and mouse setup makes movement and dodging precise during bullet-heavy nights, and the larger screen keeps omens, treasure choices and boss telegraphs clear. Long Underworld Tower climbs and festival attendance are easier to leave running, and the PC environment helps keep performance steady when the screen fills with yokai. You can also play on Mac with MuMuPlayer, including on a MacBook or a Mac mini through MuMuPlayer, and on Macs with Apple Silicon chips. The game is not a native Mac title; MuMuPlayer is the way to bring it to your desktop. If you enjoy roguelike survival action, ink-wash art, Asian fantasy and Korean folklore, Baekgwi: Ink Night Survivor is built for short one-thumb sessions and long chains of runs, and MuMuPlayer lets you play it on PC or Mac without changing how the game works.
