About the Game

Set in a world known as the Makai, or demon world, Brave Sword x Blaze Soul is a fantasy RPG that weaves together an ongoing war between demon kings, ancient relics buried deep in the earth, and a cast of characters whose lives become inseparably bound to the weapons they carry. Those weapons, called magic swords, are no ordinary armaments. Each one holds a consciousness capable of taking the form of a girl, and the warriors who wield them, known as Magic Sword Users, form deep partnerships with their blades in order to fight.
The story begins with a young man who seems a little unreliable at first glance. He is haunted by recurring nightmares of losing something precious and wakes from them unsettled. His magic sword companion, a lively and energetic girl, has no patience for his brooding and calls him out on it directly. Together the two are travelling in search of a fabled treasure when a detour through ancient ruins brings them face to face with two strangers: an enthusiastic young hero full of confidence and a girl bound to a demonic sword who has convinced herself she is nothing but a failure. The meeting of these four sets off a chain of events that will eventually shake not just the demon world but the very foundations of reality itself, though none of them could have guessed that at the time.
