About the Game

In the world of Ketsugou Danshi, darkness is not just a metaphor. A force called Dead Matter drifts through existence, consuming and absorbing everything it touches. The land known as Ketsuwa no Kuni has become the frontline of a desperate resistance, and the only warriors capable of standing against this creeping obliteration are the Shikenkan, a group of elemental volunteers who carry the power of the natural elements within them. You step into this world not as a soldier, but as a Matchmaker, someone with the rare ability to forge Combination Techniques between Shikenkan and amplify their collective strength.

The clock is already running. Only 50 days remain before Dead Matter achieves total global erosion, meaning the complete end of the world as it exists. What unfolds within those 50 days is entirely shaped by the bonds you choose to create.

At the heart of the experience is a branching narrative system built around combination. With up to ten Shikenkan available, each pairing you select opens a different story thread, leading to unique scenes, character developments, and ultimately different endings. No single playthrough reveals everything, which gives the game significant replay value for those who want to explore every possible union.

The theme song, titled Yui Uta Hanshou, features vocals from the entire cast of volunteer officers, with lyrics and composition by Agematsu Noriyasu and arrangement by Kondo Seima.

Combat in Ketsugou Danshi is built around elemental interaction. Players use Molecular Art, a system that activates abilities by combining different elements, to support their volunteers in battle. The most powerful tool available is Combination Art, which channels the emotional bond between two Shikenkan into a decisive attack. Choosing which officers to combine is not just a narrative decision; it has a direct impact on your tactical options.

In terms of content access, Parts 1 and 2 of the main story are available at no cost. To continue into Part 3 and beyond, players can purchase the Combined Boys Main Story Pack, which covers the storylines of Minamoto Saku, Yasukata Eito, Kasumi Rikka, and Uroku Shiki through to the ending. Additional volunteer officers, including Nanase Toushou, Misora Ukiishi, Jin Kurogane, Kuon Todoroki, Ichina Shiozuru, and Seiryu Izayoi, can be added to your unit through separate in-app purchases, each bringing their own combination stories with already acquired officers. Note that additional officers become available from Part 3 onward.
