Gong Zhu is a classic Chinese card game developed by LuoJiang, falling firmly within the Card genre. Built as a standalone Android title, it brings the traditional four-player competitive card experience to mobile, challenging players to manage their hand carefully, track scoring cards across rounds, and outmaneuver opponents without any team alliances. Playing Gong Zhu on PC through MuMuPlayer lets you enjoy the full strategic depth of this beloved game on a larger screen with a comfortable setup.

The game faithfully recreates the rules of Gong Zhu, centering on a rich scoring system that rewards careful play and punishes recklessness. Key scoring cards include the Queen of Spades acting as the Pig worth negative 200 points, the Ten of Clubs as the Transformer that multiplies scores by four, the Jack of Diamonds as the Sheep worth a variable 100 points, and Hearts cards carrying individual penalty values. Special conditions like collecting all Hearts for a full reversal to positive 400 points, or achieving a Grand Slam to convert all penalties into a massive combined score of 2800 points, add layers of high-stakes decision making. Each round follows strict suit-following rules, and the player who captures scoring cards in a trick collects those points for the final tally.

Playing this kind of score-tracking card game on PC with MuMuPlayer brings real advantages. The larger display makes it much easier to monitor which scoring cards have been played, track suit distributions across the table, and plan multi-round strategies without the eye strain of a small mobile screen. MuMuPlayer also provides stable performance so that no connectivity hiccup interrupts a critical round, and the familiar mouse and keyboard controls make card selection and turn management feel precise and natural throughout every game session.

Gong Zhu is a traditional Chinese card game that has long been enjoyed at social gatherings and competitive tables alike. This standalone version, developed by LuoJiang for Android, brings that same experience to digital play with a full ruleset, four-player matches, and a scoring engine that rewards deep thinking and strategic card management. Every player sits at the table as an individual competitor, meaning there are no partnerships, no alliances, and no safety nets. Your performance is entirely your own.

At the heart of Gong Zhu is a carefully constructed scoring system built around four special card types. Understanding each one is essential before sitting down to play.

The Pig: The Queen of Spades carries a heavy penalty of negative 200 points. Catching this card in a trick is one of the worst outcomes in any round, and avoiding it often shapes how players manage their suits throughout the hand.

The Transformer: The Ten of Clubs acts as a multiplier. Any player who captures this card sees all of their other score card values multiplied by four. This means the Transformer dramatically amplifies both wins and losses, making it one of the most pivotal cards in the entire deck.

The Sheep: The Jack of Diamonds is worth 100 points, but its value is described as variable because certain conditions can affect how it is counted alongside other scoring cards.

Hearts Cards: With the exception of the Sheep, the Pig, and the Transformer, all Hearts cards contribute to the scoring. Individual Hearts carry penalties ranging from negative 5 to negative 100 points depending on their face value, with the Jack worth negative 40, the Queen worth negative 60, the King worth negative 80, and the Ace worth negative 100.

Beyond these individual card values, Gong Zhu includes two powerful special conditions that can completely change the outcome of a game. The first is called All Red, where a single player collects every Hearts card from Two through Ace within one hand. When this happens, instead of suffering penalties, all Hearts scores flip to positive, awarding that player a total of positive 400 points. The second and most dramatic condition is the Grand Slam. If a player manages to capture all Hearts cards along with the Pig, the Sheep, and the Transformer in a single hand, every score converts to positive points and the total rises to a remarkable 2800 points. Attempting either of these feats is extremely risky, but the reward for pulling it off reshapes the entire score distribution.

Play itself follows suit-tracking rules familiar to trick-taking card games. Each round, the leading player puts down a card and all others must follow the same suit if they hold matching cards. Players who cannot match the suit may play any card from their hand, though that card scores at its minimum value. The player who plays the highest card of the leading suit wins the trick and collects any scoring cards within it. Rounds begin with the Two of Clubs leading the first trick, and subsequent rounds are started by whoever captured the Pig in the previous round.

After all cards are played, final scores are calculated using a formula that accounts for every player's raw point total relative to the group average. Specifically, a player's final score equals their own raw score minus one third of the combined raw scores of the other three players, multiplied by twelve. This formula ensures that the four players' final scores always sum to zero, making every point gained come directly at the expense of others. Players with positive final scores win the round; those with negative scores lose.

For anyone looking to sharpen their understanding of the scoring relationships or simply enjoy this classic card game with greater comfort, running Gong Zhu through MuMuPlayer on PC is a strong choice. The wider screen makes hand management and score tracking far more readable, and the stable desktop environment keeps each session running smoothly from start to finish.
