Building your civilization means more than placing structures. Every age you progress through unlocks new building types, stronger troops, and more advanced research options. The University is one of the most compelling systems in the game, allowing you to study under some of history's most celebrated minds. Figures like Leonardo Da Vinci, Catherine the Great, and King Sejong offer research paths that can dramatically shift your capabilities in battle or improve the efficiency of your economy. Alongside this, constructing Wonders of the World adds permanent, powerful bonuses to your base. Landmarks like the Pyramids of Egypt and the Roman Colosseum are not just visual achievements; they represent real strategic investments.
Combat in DomiNations operates on multiple levels. Day-to-day play involves attacking other players in PvP battles to collect resources and prove your tactical skill. Beyond individual skirmishes, the Alliance system opens up a much larger competitive space. Joining forces with other players allows you to participate in World War, a massive 50-on-50 conflict where coordinated strategy and communication can determine the outcome.
