About the Game

DuneCrawl is an open world action adventure title developed by Alientrap Games Inc, and it invites you to explore a vast desert sea on the back of a gigantic Crab Crawler. The core loop mixes exploration, combat, and co-op progression as you help the Polloi pilgrims fight back against the Ceramicist invasion. You can play DuneCrawl on PC through MuMuPlayer, which provides a reliable Android environment on Windows, and you can also play on Mac with MuMuPlayer if you prefer macOS hardware such as a MacBook or Mac mini.
The world is built around your Dune Crawler, a mobile base that carries you and your crew across the sands. Dozens of islands dot the desert, each offering quests, secret dungeons, and piles of loot. Exploration is not just about sightseeing: you will navigate hostile territory, uncover hidden paths, and decide when to engage or evade the jar headed Vassals and the wild bugs that roam the dunes.
Cooperative play is a major draw. You can adventure solo with a ghostly companion who lends a hand, or you can team up in local or online co-op with up to four players. Each player can take on different roles, from manning cannons to repairing damaged legs, which makes crew coordination essential during tough fights.
Progression comes from collecting Masks, Tunics, and Talismans. These items unlock powerful new abilities and change how you approach combat and exploration. You will also find weapons such as the Buzzooka and the Acid Harpoon, and your Crawler can be upgraded with Spike Armoured legs and Guided Torpedoes. For a lighter touch, you can customize your Crawler with a new hat and a sporty paintjob.
Combat is split between crustacean warfare and swashbuckling action. On the Crawler, you man the cannons and take the helm to fight other crawlers, gigantic bosses, and island fortresses. You load cannonballs, repair damaged legs, and can even launch yourself through the air for daring boarding actions. On the ground, you fight on two feet with a wide array of hand weapons and items. You can also turn the local wildlife against your enemies using Bomb Flowers, Beehives, and Spider Eggs.
Mobility extends beyond your Crawler. Giant crabs are not the only form of arthropodic locomotion. You can team up with friends to ride multi saddle Beetles, zip around on skittering Nymphs, or smash through opposition with armoured Scorpions and Ball Bugs. These mounts add variety to both traversal and combat, letting you adapt to different situations.
Playing on PC with MuMuPlayer enhances the experience in several practical ways. MuMuPlayer is a lightweight Android emulator for Windows that supports customizable keymapping, so you can map movement, cannon controls, and weapon switching to keyboard and mouse.
