DUPER: Social War Game, developed by Curio Research, is a competitive strategy title where five players engage in a free-for-all battle for territory, resources, and influence. At the start of each match, you control a capital tile and work to expand your holdings across the board. The game offers three distinct win conditions: accumulating enough tiles to reach the victory threshold, collecting a straight flush from your card hand, or surviving as the last remaining player. Interestingly, winning the match is not always the most profitable outcome. In certain situations, supporting another player's victory can yield greater rewards than claiming the win yourself, adding an extra layer of strategic calculation to every interaction.
The resource system revolves around three primary currencies. Gold funds your military and economic development, Cards provide hand-building opportunities and potential straight flush victories, and Gems serve as both a strategic objective and a reward mechanism linked to earning Chips. Four base unit types are available: Infantry for ground control, Tanks for heavier assaults, Planes for aerial advantage, and Forts for defensive positioning. Three research centers allow you to specialize your strategy, focusing on economic growth, air superiority, or fortification strength. Balancing these elements requires constant adaptation based on what your opponents are doing and what resources are available.
Diplomacy plays a central role in DUPER. Each player can send direct messages to any of the other four participants, enabling private negotiations, coordinated attacks, or carefully planned betrayals. The social layer transforms simple resource management into a psychological contest where trust becomes both a weapon and a vulnerability. Reading your opponents' intentions, managing your reputation across multiple conversations, and knowing when to honor or break an agreement are skills that develop over time and separate casual players from serious competitors.

The game is free to play and features stable matchmaking available around the clock. The community gathers on Discord where players discuss strategies, organize matches, and receive support from the development team.
