About the Game

GoreBox 27 is a physics-based sandbox shooter from F²Games that treats every character as a complete ragdoll with a skeleton, internal organs, and a persistent blood system. You can play solo, fight against bots, or join online sessions with other players. The game encourages experimentation, combat, and exploration of maps created by the community. Running GoreBox 27 on PC with MuMuPlayer gives you a desktop experience that fits the game's fast and chaotic action, while Mac users can also play on MacBook, Mac mini, or other macOS devices through the same emulator.
DAMAGE AND PHYSICS Damage is calculated per limb, so injuries are tied to the exact point of impact. A shot to the leg affects balance. A broken arm forces a character to drop whatever they are holding. The system tracks broken bones, organ damage, and blood loss. Characters can be knocked out, concussed, or left crawling while they bleed out. Blood and wounds remain visible on bodies and the environment. Limbs can be severed. Your own character suffers the same consequences, including bruises, cuts, and torn clothing. The Body Inspector lets you check vitals and organ function at any time.
WEAPONS AND TOOLS The weapon list includes a wide range of firearms, each modeled with its own recoil, handling, and sound based on real calibres. Bullets can penetrate walls and cover, which changes how you approach every fight. The Reality Crusher is a special tool that lets you spawn objects, grab them, throw them, and tear them apart. This tool expands the sandbox side of the game and encourages creative destruction.
BOTS AND NPCS NPCs do not all behave the same way. Some fight back, some run away, and some surrender. Bots use cover, reload behind it, track you by sound, and remember who attacked them. Difficulty can be adjusted from easy target practice to opponents that will beat you. The game includes dozens of unique characters with their own names, appearances, and backgrounds.
MULTIPLAYER GoreBox 27 supports crossplay across every platform where the game is available. You can host a game for friends, join by invite, or browse public sessions. Bots can be added to fill a small lobby. Host tools include kicks, vote kicks, and in-game chat. LAN play is also supported. Playing on PC through MuMuPlayer gives you a more stable setup for hosting and joining these online matches, whether you are on Windows or using a MacBook or Mac mini with macOS.
GAME MODES AND WORLD Several modes are available. Sandbox mode removes rules and objectives. Maniac Mystery, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Gun Game can all be played against bots or other players. The world includes a day and night cycle, changing weather, and water you can swim in, dive under, and even drown in.
CREATE YOUR OWN An in-game editor lets you build maps and play them immediately. You can customise your character down to the face, create your own NPCs, save them, and place them in your maps. This creation system adds long-term replay value for players who enjoy making and sharing content.
MUMPLAYER ON PC AND MAC MuMuPlayer makes GoreBox 27 easier to enjoy on a desktop. On Windows, you get precise keyboard and mouse controls, a larger display, and smoother performance for a physics-heavy game. On Mac, including MacBook, Mac mini, and other Apple Silicon devices, MuMuPlayer lets you run the game through emulation without claiming native macOS support. The emulator works well for players who want to host lobbies, build maps, or simply fight with better control than a touchscreen provides.
EARLY ACCESS AND CONTENT WARNING GoreBox 27 is still in early access and only a few months old. Bugs are likely, and nothing in the current version is final. It currently has far less content than GoreBox Animosity, and future updates will keep adding more. If you find a bug, report it on the official Discord server. The game contains graphic violence, blood, gore, and online interaction with other players. It is not made for children, and player discretion is advised.
