About the Game

Guild & Monsters, developed by PLAYTRAP, is a mobile real-time strategy RPG that puts direct control at the center of every battle. Unlike idle games that play themselves, this title demands your attention: you assemble up to 20 hunters, divide them into two units, and issue commands in real time to turn the tide. The game is set in a fallen kingdom where Blackstone, a crystal from another dimension, has corrupted both humans and monsters. As a Guild Master, you gather hunters in a ruined village and build a guild to fight back.
The core combat loop revolves around four commands: Charge, Scatter Charge, Rally, and Concentrated Attack. You can drag to select individual hunters or command all units, Unit 1, or Unit 2 separately. Issuing different orders to each unit opens up tactical depth, letting you respond to shifting battlefield conditions. Auto-battle is available for convenience, but you can switch to manual control at critical moments. How you divide your forces becomes your strategy, and a single well-timed command can decide victory.
Five classes form the backbone of your legion. Warriors hold the front line and protect allies. Archers deliver sustained ranged damage. Spearmen pierce enemy formations and break through lines. Throwers apply mid-range pressure across multiple targets. Mages unleash powerful area-of-effect magic from the rear. Mixing these roles lets you craft formations and tactics that suit your playstyle.
Progression involves more than just fighting. You combine levels, equipment, enhancements, and unique skills to cultivate an elite force. The Blacksmith, Alchemist, and Tavern allow you to craft gear and potions and recruit new hunters. A pity system guarantees hunter acquisition within a set number of summons. Expeditions let your hunters grow even while you are offline. The combat loop itself has a satisfying rhythm: wait for drops, flip and appraise equipment, and prove your strength as enhanced gear and season records appear in server notifications and ranker information.
Competition and cooperation drive the endgame. Stage 24 unlocks the Outlaw Battlefield and Arena. The Arena is a head-to-head test of your hunters and formations against other commanders. The Outlaw Battlefield is a real-time PvP free-for-all where up to 20 players and neutral monsters clash; the permanent arena opens nightly from 8 PM to 12 AM and requires an entry ticket. Alliances let you tackle Alliance Dungeons and Alliance Missions together, with Alliance Siege and Alliance Raids planned for future updates.
The development team has outlined four operational promises: transparent communication about critical errors and compensation, constant verification of public probabilities against actual values, preservation of accumulated progress and records, and active incorporation of player feedback. Optional rewarded ads are available but never required for gameplay. The game supports Korean and includes in-app purchases and probability-based items, with probability information available in-game and online.
