About the Game

The world of Island War did not always look the way it does now. At its core, Island War balances two opposing instincts: the drive to attack and the need to defend. On the offensive side, you command a fleet and send it out to raid other players' islands. Weaker islands offer quick gains, but the most valuable loot is always waiting somewhere further out, on islands belonging to captains who have built up real wealth. Every successful raid fills your coffers with the resources needed to grow, but the same logic applies to you. Other players are scanning the seas for easy targets, and your island is always a potential prize.
Defense is just as important as offense in Island War. Fortifying your island is an ongoing process that involves upgrading structures, reinforcing positions, and making your base difficult enough to crack that attackers look elsewhere. The strongest-looking fortress can still fall to a well-planned assault, which means there is always more work to do on your defenses and always more tactics to consider when planning your own raids.
Exploration adds another dimension to the experience. The ocean is not just a battlefield between human players. It is filled with hidden places and unusual encounters. As you venture further from familiar waters, you can discover and recruit a wide variety of powerful units:

A stable internet connection is required for normal gameplay, and the game is best enjoyed during longer sessions where you can manage your island, run multiple raids, and stay active in clan activities.
