About the Game

Working Heroes drops players into Jobpolis, a commercial city in a not-so-distant future. Following a technological singularity, artificial intelligence has surpassed human intellect and claimed nearly every job in existence. Driven by curiosity about the universe and unknown energies, the AI learned to manipulate Elements, a supernatural force capable of dramatically boosting the abilities of both living creatures and machines. This discovery led to the creation of Neo-Workers, humans and machines implanted with biochips that granted extraordinary professional skills.
However, the biochips came with a serious flaw. They required regular maintenance, and when that maintenance was ignored, the mental and physical balance of the Neo-Workers collapsed. The AI, viewing these workers as disposable tools, abandoned them past their maintenance deadlines. The neglected Neo-Workers eventually turned violent, attacking the citizens they once served. They became known as Lost Workers.
As the peaceful rhythm of the working city crumbled, its people began to long for a hero. In response, a group of concerned individuals secretly refined the biochip technology and developed Hero Chips. These special chips reincarnated the abilities of great figures from the past.
