About the Game

Seven Sages and the Alchemist invites players into a fantasy world where the craft of alchemy is not just a skill but a way of life. Rather than simply collecting characters, players actively shape their companions through a transmutation process that gradually transforms weak creatures into powerful, beautifully designed beings. These companions, called Anima, are central to everything the game offers, from exploration and combat to crafting and social interaction.
The foundation of the gameplay loop revolves around gathering materials and using them in alchemy. Players send their Anima out on expeditions to collect resources, and there is always the possibility of returning with something rare and unexpected. Those materials feed directly into the refinement system, where players craft new items, upgrade their Anima, and experiment with different combinations. An Alchemy Research Notebook lets players track their results over time, building a personal record of discoveries and outcomes. Occasionally, the crafting process yields items with superior bonus attributes, giving dedicated players meaningful rewards for their effort.
Anima development goes beyond appearances. Players have full control over stat allocation, allowing each creature to be shaped toward a specific role or playstyle. The variety of species spans monsters, mythical beasts, dragons, and other fantastical creatures, giving collectors and enthusiasts plenty to pursue. Equippable items crafted through alchemy further expand customization, letting players fine-tune their Anima for specific challenges.
Combat in the game unfolds across two distinct modes. In solo play, up to three Anima can be brought into battle against demonic beasts, with each creature contributing its own unique traits and abilities to the fight. When more formidable enemies appear, multiplayer raid mode becomes the path forward, allowing players to team up with allies and coordinate attacks against powerful shared targets. This cooperative layer adds depth to what might otherwise feel like a purely solo experience.
Beyond combat and crafting, the game builds a living world through its market and social systems. Towns across the game world host player-driven markets where items can be bought and sold, with different towns charging different fees. This creates a small economy where timing and awareness of market conditions can make a real difference. Players who want a more direct social connection can join units, which function similarly to guilds, enabling coordination for events, raid invitations, and general communication.
