About the Game

Mindustry is not simply a tower defense game. It is a full industrial simulation where your ability to build efficient production systems determines whether your base survives or crumbles under enemy pressure. Developed by Anuken, the game puts you in charge of constructing supply chains, researching technologies, deploying automated units, and holding your core against increasingly aggressive waves of attackers. Every system connects to every other system, and finding that balance between production and defense is what keeps the experience compelling from the first sector to the last.
At the heart of the game is resource management. Raw materials need to be extracted, processed through production blocks, and delivered to turrets, construction zones, or unit assembly lines. Conveyors, conduits, and routing systems all play a role in keeping your operation running. Supplying optional coolant and lubricant to your machinery increases output efficiency, while liquid distribution adds another layer of complexity to base planning. Unit production is a major part of mid and late game strategy. Assembly lines build armies that can be directed to raid enemy bases, manage your own logistics automatically, or hold defensive positions. Fully functional enemy bases push back, so you need to plan your assaults carefully and keep reinforcements flowing.
Beyond the campaign, Mindustry offers a full suite of multiplayer and custom game options. Cross-platform co-op lets you complete missions alongside friends regardless of what device they are using. PvP modes pit teams against each other with customizable rules, including changes to block costs, enemy strength, starting resources, and wave timing. You can join public dedicated servers or set up a private session for a smaller group.
For players who want to go further, the built-in map editor supports scripting, giving you tools to create entirely custom scenarios. A mod browser makes it easy to find and install community content directly from inside the game, extending the experience well beyond what the base content offers.
