About the Game

Fourth Eye God -Reunion- is a complete remake of the second entry in the escape adventure novel series originally released in 2016. Developed by ESC-APE by SEEC, the game places players in Yotsumura, a secluded mountain village that has long worshipped a being known as the fourth god. The protagonist, a third-year junior high student, travels there with a parent and soon meets a mysterious boy who warns that any contact will lead to unhappiness. From there, two central mysteries unfold: the true nature of the fourth god and the hidden history of the Sagara family.
This remake expands the original experience in several important ways. The entire story is now fully voiced, which gives the characters a stronger sense of presence and makes emotional moments more impactful. Animated character movements and newly added still illustrations deepen the visual storytelling, while additional narrative content enriches the world. The game is presented in a horizontal screen format, allowing the artwork and backgrounds to fill the display and draw players further into the Japanese shrine setting.
Gameplay follows the escape adventure novel format, combining escape game puzzle solving with a substantial narrative. Unlike typical escape titles, Fourth Eye God -Reunion- uses a multi-ending system. The ending changes based on the choices you make and the items you use, encouraging careful observation and repeated playthroughs. A hint function is included, so even players who are new to escape games or puzzle adventures can progress without getting stuck for too long.
The opening portion of the game is available for free up to Chapter 7, titled Sumi and Brush.
