The Hollow is unlike any conventional danger. It bends space into labyrinthine corridors, hosts creatures warped far beyond natural recognition, and conceals within its depths the remnants of an older world. Ether resources, artifacts of lost civilizations, and biological anomalies all draw different factions into its boundaries for different reasons. But entering the Hollow without proper guidance is a one-way trip. Those who try to navigate it alone rarely find their way back.
That is where the Proxy comes in. As a Connector operating out of New Eridu, the player character possesses a rare and irreplaceable ability: the capacity to read the Hollow's shifting structure and lead others safely through it. This role places you at the intersection of every major power in the city. The clients are not always trustworthy, and the jobs are never simple.
