Recommended Settings and FAQ for Destiny: Rising on Mac

MuMuPlayer (macOS) is now compatible with Destiny: Rising. We strongly recommend enabling the GPU Fast Math feature in the Performance settings for a smoother gaming experience and more responsive shooting. Please refer to the steps below for specific adjustments.

I. Recommended Emulator Performance Settings

Start MuMuPlayer (macOS), then click on Android Device, and select the top menu MuMu Android Device - Settings for My Android to open the Settings.

1. Performance settings

Click Performance, enable GPU Fast Math, set Performance settings to Custom, select the highest option for CPU (recommended maximum: 8), choose the maximum value for Memory (recommended maximum: 7), set the FPS limit to Maximum (144FPS), and check the option to Mute when minimized.

Notice:

The mute when minimized feature is only available in Emulator version 1.6.40 and above.

Increasing performance settings will reduce resources available for other programs on your computer. Adjust performance based on your device’s actual usage, avoid running high-load applications simultaneously, and prevent lag in both the system and emulator.

2. Device settings

Set the GPU Model to Medium or higher.

II. Recommended Game Settings

Go to Game Settings - Graphics settings, set the Frame Rate to 120, and adjust Texture precision to HD for an ultra-HD visual experience.

III. What if the game fails to start?

Some users may encounter a notice that device performance does not meet requirements when starting Destiny: Rising with MuMuPlayer (macOS). If this happens, go to Device settings and increase the emulator device performance to at least 2 Cores and 2GB RAM to run the game normally.
