MuMuPlayer Data Backup Guide: How to Back Up Your Emulator Data

Some users may need to back up their data while using MuMuPlayer. If you need to back up your data, follow the steps below.

How to Back Up MuMuPlayer Data

Find the Android Device You Want to Back Up

Open the MuMuPlayer main interface and find the MuMu Android device you want to back up.

Back Up the Device

Click Options on the right side of the MuMu Android device you want to back up, select Backup and Restore, and then click Backup in the pop-up window. The backup file is named XXX.mumudata by default, where XXX refers to the name assigned to the MuMu Android device. Click Save to start the backup.

Note: After you click Save, MuMuPlayer will start backing up the device data. The backup process may take some time, so please wait patiently.

Import a Backup

After the backup is complete, click New Device in the upper-left corner of the MuMuPlayer main interface, or click Options on the right side of the MuMu Android device where you want to import the backup, select Import and Restore, and then click Restore. Select the backup data you created earlier and click OK. Wait for MuMuPlayer to finish importing the backup data.

Note: If you select an existing MuMu Android device, make sure to back up its original data first. Importing backup data will clear the existing data on the selected MuMu Android device.

Back Up Macros and Key Mapping Settings

Before uninstalling and reinstalling MuMuPlayer, if you need to back up your macros and key mapping settings, press Win + R, enter %AppData%, and press Enter. In the window that opens, navigate to Netease\MuMuPlayer\data. Copy the gamepadConfig, keymapConfig, gameScript, and scriptSetting folders to another disk location. After the reinstalled MuMuPlayer has completed startup and deployment, copy the backed-up folders back to Netease\MuMuPlayer\data.
