About Prem Rawat

Upon his father's death when Prem was just 8 years old, Prem courageously picked up the mantle of spreading the knowledge of inner peace far and wide. By the time this young Indian boy was a teenager, he was addressing crowds in the thousands, such as during his historic speech at the Glastonbury Festival in the UK in 1971. Since then, he has been a keynote speaker at the Nordic Peace Conference, the United Nations, the Italian Senate, the UK Parliament, Harvard & Oxford Universities and elsewhere, earning the title ‘International Ambassador of Peace.’ Inspired by his message, the European Parliament proceeded to sign the first-ever Pledge for Peace Declaration.

Prem’s message is easy to understand and is highly relatable to everyday life. Through his Peace Education Program, he has reached hundreds of millions of people from all walks of life – from those wealthy and famous to those facing desperate times. The Prem Rawat Foundation focuses on serving the marginalized, the downtrodden, and the helpless. It inspires people who are suffering from war, famine, extreme poverty, and illness, to discover that inner peace is still possible.
