What if the history recorded in textbooks was never the full story? Z Day: Hearts of Heroes presents an alternate timeline where the pivotal Allied landing at Normandy in 1944 was derailed by experimental weather-altering weapons wielded by enemy forces. By 1945, a detonated Antimatter Bomb had obliterated global order, plunging the world into chaos and triggering an unstoppable zombie outbreak. This catastrophic moment, known as Zero Day or Z-Day, became the dividing line between civilization as it was and the nightmare that followed.
In this shattered world, a ruthless enemy captain continues his pursuit of Antimatter, a substance capable of annihilating what remains of humanity and converting every survivor into an undead creature. Players take on the role of a commander who refuses to accept that fate. Your mission is to rebuild from the ruins, forge powerful alliances, and lead a growing army against both the zombie hordes and the human enemies who seek total domination.
