S-Tier - Must-Have Picks

Golden Tower

The Golden Tower is an elite unlimited weapon (UW) since its activation will multiply every coin/cash left after killing enemies by a factor of 5 to a maximum of 21, depending on how many upgrades are put into it. Its golden combo unlimited weapon (UW+) will give an additional bonus equal to the number of enemies killed in a given time period after activation.

You should continue to reroll until you find the Golden Tower as your first choice. There is an 88% chance that you will get one of the following four UW's, which include the Golden Tower (GT), Black Hole (BH), Darkwalker (DW) or Spotlight (SP). If none of these are pulled after the first roll, roll again.

Black Hole

Once the Black Hole (BH) is activated, it pulls every enemy within the range of your tower (or edge) into a single conglomeration of enemies (or Vortex), thus allowing for the opportunity to earn huge coinage. When linked with a Golden Tower (GT), both UWs multiply rather than adding together. For example, 10 (GT) coins per kill multiplied by 5 (BH) coins will ultimately yield you 50 coins per kill instead of 15 coins per kill.

At approximately 2807 investment stones, the Black Hole (BH) becomes permanently active for common enemies, thus making it one of the best cost per use (CPU) UWs currently available in the game.

Death Wave

Death wave produces outward shockwave damage that provides both coin and maximum hp bonuses for every enemy that is hit. Therefore, its cooldown timer starts at 300 seconds, which is also the default value for Golden Tower, thus making it easy to synchronize with launch day. The Death Wave also sees a substantial increase in power at tier three when hitting wave 250, the coin bonus increases to 2.5 times and the maximum hp bonus increases to 12.5 times.

A-Tier - Strong Investment

At wave 80, Tier 7 releases a new ability for the Spotlight project that creates a cone of multiplied damage and unlocks a 3X coin bonus. This ability makes the Spotlight project a perfect farming tool late in the game.

Chain lightning will continue firing without a cooldown and applying a Shock debuff to the targeted enemy's health bars, thus increasing all types of damage done to that enemy. Before Tier 7, Chain Lightning was also the most energy-efficient Ultimate Weapon for calculating damages and is the best option for your fifth Ultimate Weapon on the account.

B, C and D-Tier

The Chrono Field is capable of slowing and reducing enemies' incoming damage. However, it requires a very significant amount of stone to ensure that the player can keep it up for a reliable period of time. Therefore, for this structure, the player should not invest in it heavily until they have unlocked all 9 of their Ultimate Weapons. The Smart Missile does very well with the Spotlight and can deal a significant amount of burst damage.

The Inner Land Mine will stun nearby enemies. However, they are only effective for use in completing event missions. The Poison Swamp is not usable until the Chrono Field is used to keep enemies in place. Therefore, the player should wait until the end of their 9 Ultimate Weapon (UW) requirement and only consider unlocking this for the sake of meeting the 9-UW requirement to gain access to the Unit Weapons + level.

Priority List and Upgrade Tips

The first unlock should be for the Golden Tower, followed by Black Hole, Death Wave and then Spotlight, Chain Lightning, Smart Missiles and finally either Chrono Field, Inner Land Mines or Poison Swamp in any order for those last three.

The primary goal of your upgrades is to synchronize the cooldown of the Golden Tower, Black Hole and Death Wave to a single shared 200-second cooldown. This provides a burst of farming every 3 minutes and 20 seconds where all three coin bonuses will activate simultaneously and multiply upon themselves. If you reduce the cooldown of one of these abilities by 200 seconds, you will need to immediately reduce the cooldowns of the other abilities to maintain the same synchronization.
