The Early Events to Get You Started
At the start of the game, you will find that there are a plethora of events. They are mainly there to make you stay in the game and keep yourself entertained. All of the events will ask you to log in. When you log in, for each day, you will get the day’s rewards. There is also a reward for login streaks. From these starter events, you can get coins, Crayons, Crystal Leaves, Mocharons, Apostle Recruitment Tickets, and many more. At the start, you will find these events:
- Welcome to Elias Tour: It is a seven-day login event. You will receive Apostle Recruitment Tickets and other resources.
- Cool Autumn Breeze and the Master's Diary: It is a 22-day login bonus event. Each day brings a reward that is unique and will help you out a bunch, especially in the later stages of the game. At the end of the event, there is a special bonus present.
- Welcome Master: It is a daily login event.
Getting Stronger in Trickal: Chibi Go
The main power scaling mechanic in the game is the characters, or the Apostles. So, to get stronger, you will need to get the best possible characters by recruiting them. You will unlock the gacha system upon clearing stages 1-3. There are Apostles of different rarities and strengths, but what you get depends on your luck. To pull these characters, you have to use Crystal Leaves and Apostle Recruitment tickets.
Getting all the characters is not the only way to get stronger. You can make your characters more powerful. If you want to get through harder stages, you have to make them more powerful. There are two methods to increase the power: Level Up and Equip.
Levelling up is the primary method to become powerful after getting the Apostles. You can level them up with food items. It will boost the primary stats, namely:
- HP
- SP
- Physical Defence
- Magic Defence
- Physical Attack
- Magic Attack
You can also equip your Apostles with equipment. Each equipment increases the base stats when the character is wearing it. You can equip up to six items for each character, and you obtain equipment by defeating stages. Once you equip all six pieces of equipment, your Apostle will Rank Up.
Combat Mechanic
The Combat Mechanism is a blend of chess and tower defence. During every stage, you will fight against five waves of monsters. You will have to understand the combat mechanism for clearing the waves and getting three stars.
With each stage, at the start of the game, you will have a minute to get ready. This prep time is called the Team Build Phase, which happens before the Battle Phase.
In the Team Build Phase, purchase Apostle Cards with coins to use them. Once the time limit in the Team Build Phase is over, the battle begins automatically. So, you will have to rush a bit to get the best lineup.
You can use six characters from your lineup for fights against monsters. In the lineup, there are three lines open for positioning your chibi characters: Front, Mid, and Back, each containing three slots. Each Apostle has an assigned role like DPS, Tank, or Support. So, try to have:
- In the front, you should just have Tanks. They will take the brunt of the damage and keep your team alive.
- In the Mid, keep your Close-range DPS and Supporters Apostles. These characters will give you buffs throughout the stage.
- In the Back, keep your Long-range DPS characters along with a combination of Supporters. Preferably, keep the weaker characters in the back. In this position, these characters will not get hurt that much, compared to if they were in the Front or Mid.
Before you battle, check whether the character is a DPS, Supporter, or Tank. You will need a balanced lineup. Remember that too much of anything will not work well for a lineup, in most cases.
