About the Game

Ten years ago, humanity faced a threat unlike anything it had encountered before. Entities from beyond the known world, referred to as Outer Gods, descended upon civilization and brought destruction on a massive scale. Conventional military weapons proved completely ineffective against these enormous beings, and city after city fell under their advance. National governments collapsed, safe zones for ordinary people shrank rapidly, and the future of humanity looked increasingly grim.

The turning point came when two unexpected figures stepped forward. A mysterious young female scientist and an enigmatic swordsman appeared at the height of the crisis. The swordsman, wielding a weapon forged through magic crystal refinement technology and fighting with physical capabilities far beyond normal human limits, managed to slay an Outer God. It was the first confirmed victory against these invaders, and it gave the world a reason to hope again.

In the years that followed, the scientist used her contributions to magic crystal refinement technology to rise to the center of international political power. Under her leadership, a specialized agency was formed to counter the continuing Outer God threat. Wrapped in political influence and widespread reverence, she became known to the public as a saint-like figure. Seven years ago, this organization was formally restructured into what is now called the anti-Outer God combat agency, or simply the Kami Agency. It recruits and trains Aptitude Holders, fighters who can wield magic crystal-refined armaments effectively, and deploys them to neutralize Outer God appearances across the globe.
