About the Game

Zombie Assault: Resurgence, developed by Ninja Kiwi, is an action game set in a future where the New Dawn Protocol is a century old. The citizens of New Aartis live peacefully under the United Systems Initiative, protected by highly trained Mercenaries who keep order across the sector. That peace is shattered when a strange energy source is discovered, and the undead begin a resurgence of their own. As a Merc, you will face a threat more powerful than anything humanity has encountered before.
The Mercs are the CREDible faction, skilled operatives ready for any situation, especially when credits are on the line. The game features deep RPG gameplay through three distinct classes: Assault, Heavy, and Medic. Each class can be customized with skill trees that include six core skills and six class specific skills, all of which can be upgraded. You also have access to three powerful activated abilities that can change the outcome of a battle. For further specialization, you can choose between two unique specialty classes, locking in traits that unlock new specialty skills and additional activated abilities for each branch.
Combat is intense, with wave after wave of old foes, terrifying new enemies, and epic bosses. To counter this, you need serious weaponry. You can earn strongboxes that contain an extensive arsenal of brand new weapons and armor. The loadout system is highly customizable, with over 60 primary and secondary weapons, a range of armors, and a selection of grenades and turrets. The crafting system allows you to improve and modify weapons and gear. Excess weapons can be sold or dismantled for extra resources. If you find yourself overwhelmed, a mid-mission supply drop can provide a unique power weapon to keep the undead at bay.
There is no shortage of work for the Mercs, and each mission comes with its own rewards. You can join a squad for the ultimate battle in four player co-op or go solo in single player. Story missions help the USI uncover the secrets behind the new resurgence. Special Operations offer numerous objectives to complete. For extra rewards, you can check the bounty board for additional challenges. Keep an eye out for vendors and raise your reputation with them; you may gain access to unique weaponry not available anywhere else.
