What are Chuchus? 

To put it simply, Chuchus are your cosmic pets. They can be whimsical and are native to different biomes within Auroria. They have bouncy bodies, and expressive faces and are mischievous. They can seem quite cute when you encounter them but do not be tricked by their cuteness for capturing them is no easy feat. 

Each Chuchu belongs to a specific elemental type and habitat, but all of them can be captured by using the AuraCube when their HP is weakened until it reaches only 10% remaining. To complete your ChuchuDex, you will need to traverse through every biome and event zone and track down these crafty companions. 

Essential Tools for Taming and Capturing 

• AuraCube: This item is used to capture Chuchus. And the higher the level is, the more the success rate of capturing one. 
• Tracking System: Essential for tracking down specific Chuchus 
• Dreamstone/Astrostone: This item is required to enter illusion zones for S-tier and Lord Chuchus. 
• Alchemy Table: If you want to craft higher AuraCubes and summon items, you will need an Alchemy Table as your working facility. 

Different Types of Chuchu and How to Capture them 

Chuchus vary not only by by looks and elements but also by their rarity and behavior. Listed below is a breakdown of the main types of Chuchus and where to find them: 

S-tier Chuchus 

These are the elite Chuchus and are the hardest to capture. The players need to play smart to even get close to them. It is to be noted that these Chuchus only spawn in Illusion Zones. The list of these Elite Chuchus is as follows: 

• Komododragon (found in Poison Swamp Illusion): Bleed effects on this Chuchu may aid in its capture. 
• C-Rex (found in Bone Illusion Zone): The effective strategy to capture this Chuchu is to break armor, then burst and capture it. 
• Mecherpent (found in Mech Illusion Zone): Astrostone is needed for entry and it is recommended to use Electric-resist Chuchu. 
• Goldscale (found in Volcano Illusion): Can be accessed in a high heat zone and it's better to use a fire-resist team along with healing. 
• Flutterphant (found in Sky Illusion Zone): It's recommended to use air mobility and slowdowns before using AuraCube to capture them. 

These Chuchus can only be found in Illusion Zones and you need to craft summon items at the work facility. It's also important to defeat them before taming them. 

A-tier Chuchus 

These are rare Chuchus and can be moderately tough to capture. Capturing them also requires some combat tactics along with strategic buffs. Here is a breakdown of the Chuchus that fall under A-tier: 

• Moa (found in cold mountain ridges): They appear during snowy weather so that's the best time to capture them. 
• Velociraptor (found in forest): These are quite fast so it's better to come equipped with slow debuff skills. 
• Mecheronaut (found in industrial zones): These can also be spotted in Scrapyard zones and are easy to weaken due to their low movement. 
• FlameFox (found in Lava Zones): It's recommended to use Fire-resisting Chuchus when encountering them. 
• Vineglow (found in Bioluminescent forest): They appear in darkened areas at night so thats where you should keep an eye. 
• Dracoequine (found in cliff paths): These are also found in summoning portals and need tracking due to their rarity. 

These Chuchus require combat tactics that include stun and debuff along with reducing HP before you can use the suitable Aura Cube to capture them. The above three require lvl. 2 AuraCubes whereas the lower three require lvl. 3 AuraCubes. 

B-tier Chuchus 

These are common Chuchus and can be found easily. These are ideal for beginners as they are playable only after upgrading. These Chuchus are found throughout planets like Yilin, Kora, and Arisu Plains, roaming in areas like fields, forests, and caves. 

Here is a list of common Chuchus and where they are found: 

• Rabistone (found in Arisu Ridge): Just track, search, and throw the AuraCube when you find it. 
• Ghosty (found in Graveyard areas): It's better to search at night while using a slow debuff. 
• Slowy (found in swamps): Recommended to use pets who are resistant to speed debuff. 
• Alpaca (found in villages): It's better to use ranged Chuchus to weaken them. 
• Cleany (found near factories): Waiting near work facilities to capture them can be helpful. 
• Hornedstrich (found in canyon paths): These Chuchus appear near cliffsides and deserts. 
• Soilworm (found underground): It's recommended to search during rain or stormy weather. 

The B-tier Chuchus often do not need combat weakening and can just be captured by tossing an AuraCube after engaging with them. This makes them the easiest to capture. You only need Lvl. 1 AuraCube to capture them. 

Lord Chuchu 

This Chuchu falls under the category of Legendary rarity. It can be of any element and is found in the Illusion Realm. You need to use Dreamstone, battle it, and reduce HP for the AuraCube to take effect. It is to be noted that these have Ultra-low spawn chance and can be tracked via Map. The Lord Chuchu is a unique challenge boss and it's better if you go in with high-tier companions and buffs.
