Banners for 2.8v of Wuthering Waves
In this new version of Wuthering Waves, two new Resonators have been introduced to us as playable units. Those two Resonators are:
- Chisa - 5-star, Havoc, Broad Blade, Support
- Buling: 4-star, Electro, Rectifier, Healer
Apart from these two, a lot of familiar faces from Rinascita are back. Those re-run banners are:
- Phoebe: 5-star, Spectro, Rectifier, DPS

Who is Chisa?
Chisa is the latest Resonator to join the roster of Havoc. She is a support unit in Negative Status teams, and her choice of weapon is a Broad Blade. Her Outro Skill has the potential to increase the maximum stacks of Negative Status and Electro Rage, which enemies can receive by 3, and can enhance her team’s debuff ability significantly. While her Resonance Liberation can provide steady team-wide sustainability by restoring a portion of the HP of her squadmates.
Who is Buling?
Another new Resonator, who made her debut in this patch. She is a 4-star Electro healer who can provide buffs for her teammates’ DMG output. She can also inflict Electro Flare which can further increase her squadmate’s Resonance Skill DMG and can amplify the team's DMG through her Outro Skill. During battle when Buling gains Minor Ying and Minor Yang, she will then enter Yin Yang Balance, which will further enhance her Resonance Liberation to Flashing Thunder Seal: Harmony that can create Five Thunders Spell Array. While it's active, the nearby squamates will earn Thunder Spell effects which can be enhanced to Intro Skills.
With such a powerful kit, she can be a worthy addition to a few specific comps.
New Skin for Zani in Wuthering Waves
In this version, Zani also received a new cosmetics set known as “Downtown Ropse”, which is a new skin for the character. The skin will be permanently available in-game, but during the current version, the cosmetics set will be available for a discount price.
