About the Game

Set against the backdrop of post-World War I southern Italy, Piofiore no Bansho 1926 is a sequel visual novel that picks up where its predecessor left off. The city of Burlone, governed by the power struggles of three rival mafia organizations, once again becomes the stage for conflict, romance, and survival. Protagonist Liliana, having navigated the dangerous events of 1925, finds herself drawn back into extraordinary circumstances through multiple distinct story routes that each offer a different perspective on what unfolds in 1926.
The narrative is divided into three episodic arcs, each carrying its own tone and focus:
Episodio 1926 BURLONE: Following the resolution of the prior year's incident, Liliana and her lover from the Burlone Mafia attempt to move forward together. But the era is shifting, and headwinds from the outside world bring new pressure on the organizations that once controlled the city. This route explores how love and loyalty are tested when the structures that once provided order begin to crack.
Episodio 1926 ALTERNATIVA: The events of 1925 did not end as cleanly as it seemed. The mastermind's fate was never confirmed, and 1926 brings a new threat shaped by the ambitions of both the government and the church. The Burlone Mafia, normally divided, must join forces once more, and the protagonist becomes a central figure in untangling the threat before it consumes the city.
Episodio 1926 HENRI: This route takes a more personal and romantic path. After the chaos of 1925, two people escaped Burlone and settled into a quiet life in France. When an unexpected incident forces a return to the city, the story becomes a quiet study of devotion and the complicated bonds formed between people who have been through the extraordinary together.
While the game is designed as a continuation of Piofiore no Bansho -ricordo-, it can be experienced independently. Players who have gone through the previous title will find added depth and resonance in the callbacks and narrative connections, but the story within this installment is complete enough to stand on its own.
The cast features prominent voice talent throughout. Dante Falzone is voiced by Kaito Ishikawa, Gilbert Redford by Shotaro Morikubo, Yang by Nobuhiko Okamoto, Nicola Francesca by Ryohei Kimura, Orlok by Toshiyuki Toyonaga, and Henri Lambert by Shinnosuke Tachibana. The performances bring each character to life across scenes that range from tense and dramatic to quiet and emotionally resonant.
