About the Game

At the heart of Radiant Tale is a simple wish: Tifalia just wants to live a normal life. She works quietly at a shop called Libel, expecting nothing more eventful than serving the customers who walk through the door each day. That changes entirely when a group of eccentric performers from CIRCUS, an entertainment troupe operating under direct government authority, arrive as customers and accidentally set off a chain of events that pulls Tifalia far from the ordinary existence she always wanted.
The catalyst comes from an offhand remark made by the troupe's leader after their first performance ends in complete failure. Rather than being simply dismissed, Tifalia's very averageness is identified as something CIRCUS desperately needs. She is recruited on the spot as both assistant and producer, a role she never asked for and never trained for. After a sleepless night wrestling with the idea of leaving everything familiar behind, a few encouraging words from family members help her make the decision to go.
What follows is a journey across different locations as CIRCUS attempts to stage shows, improve their performances, and eventually make a legendary flower called Flora bloom. Flora is said to bloom only in response to genuine joy, making it a symbol of whether the troupe's efforts are truly connecting with audiences. That central goal gives the story both emotional weight and a clear sense of direction as the group stumbles, argues, and slowly grows together.
